ooh Rach you lazy lump... lol.. I'm off for a nap shortly.. just having lunch.. chicken and mushroom pasty, packet of crisps and a slice of chocolate roll.. and a cuppa..

Mumoftwo.. I would be furious too.. do you not know a 'handy-dad' about who would do it? it is quite easy to do really. If you have a LETs there you might find someone about who would do it.. ask on the local freecycle too.. it is really worth a try!!!

I went to B & Q to get what I needed: valve thingie and cone for waste pipe and thought I would do it myself. But while I was down there (under the sink :D ) It all became a bit complicated because I have the pipes and connections from the washing machine going into the garage there as well and I think a plumber can tidy everything up once and for all!! And the stopcock wouldn't go all the way to switch the water off so don't want to risk a flood. Thanks a lot, I put the LET into my favourites, looks good, great idea will definately join that, freecycle isn't established here.

With my hubbie being blind, I do a lot of stuff myself (my mother was a single parent and I saw her do lots of stuff herself) but plumbing is maybe going a bit too far.

    Afternoon all

Not much done today. I've watched two episodes of Corrie and Doc Martin - does that count? :D

OK, one load of washing done and hung upstairs.
Asda shopping delivered and all put away.
The place really isn't too bad so I'll catch up tomorrow.

OK, found the furniture polish and I've dusted....horrible job...yuk!
Anyway, finished kitchen, done dining room and lounge. Did light fittings the other week, only do them monthly.
I've just got to hoover now, caught up on all washing and drying, then pop into town. After lunch I may delve into some clutter thats hiding away, but downstairs is looking great....

    Hiya
Living room tidy and clean. We're ordering the floor for the living room at the weekend so that'll make a huge difference. Hall, stairs and landing is clear and tidy. Going to fill a bin bag with children's stuff....clothes and toys they've grown out of. Left three bags out for charity collection so def getting there.

Going to have a chocolate lava pudding now because I deserve it!!!

Downstairs of house is looking pretty good now and so I'm feeling calm which is lovely. Just need to close my eyes in the bedrooms.

Orf to the gym now and straight on to pick up kids.

Sink is shined to greet me on my return but haven't decided on dinner so need to think of that while gymming and pop into tesco before picking up the boys.

Have a good afternoon all whatever you're up to.

Afternoon all just eating one of my favourite lunchs - turkey, watercress and mayo crusty brown roll with cox apple - eaily pleased me.

LJD (I need to know what that stands for) my DS3 is 5 and half, they sure to sound similar. MBT's a mum up the road got some earlier in the year, I am interested so will ask her what she thinks. Hope you enjoyed your pudding - you do deserve it - I still can't see the living room floor.

Done my jobs in town. Just need to do a quick M&S online order and my clickthrough. Then plan to finish kitchen and do hall and downstairs loo. Living room maybe demoted to wednesday catchup as it is swimming after school and then a pop into ASDA next door as DS3 needs slippers and it is come to school in your PJs day on Thursday - do schools have no sense?? (sorry teachers but some ideas are barmy and just stress the kids and the parents)
