Yes, still working, but you won't earn any cashback at all on it.0 -

Yeah darren72 is correct, I think this has been covered, the initial letter from Barclaycard did state all this and how long it would work for, I've long since shredded mine, so I would stop using it and switch to your Visa to continue your cashbackAfter reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

Mine would have stopped earning cashback after 7th July. Which would have been the date before the July statement. I think they said it would continue working until the end of August, but I stopped using mine on the 7th July, and cashback was paid as part of July's statement.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Can anyone tell me how quickly their new visa card came through? My online account indicates the account has changed over but no sign yet of the corresponding card. I have messaged them but I thought I'd canvass here to see how long it took.
I do have my new AmEx card but I'm off to London for a long weekend and would like to have visa as well. I can pay cash for the minority non-AmEx stuff but the MSE in me doesn't like doing that when it gains interest in my current account
Apparently the card that was supposed to be mine was faulty and was recalled- maybe the same has happened to others apparently?
One which was apparently sent on 27th July...0 -
Hi,
I've lost my Amex account now too so finally cut it up.
However, since the change my balance/money transfer offers have become terrible.
Current 'offer' is 6.9% on the balance of a balance transfer for the life of it, and a 2.9% fee.
Last year I was offered a money transfer at 0.9% fee for a year, and most recently was offered an 18 month money transfer for 1.9%.
Will these better offers reappear? I've never use them but am always tempted to (for pension contributions or similar).
Has this happened to anyone else?0 -

Just a quick update on my situation. I got a phone call from Barclaycard on Saturday who confirmed my new card was sent out on August the 3rd (old cashback offer ended on the 2nd ) and should be with my by the 17th at the latest :rotfl:
I've no idea if the old card is still working as luckily I never needed to use it and got 5% on the Amex instead. However thanks to this I am now considering ditching the Barclaycard and switching to the Asda card once my introductory 3 months is up.0 -
Hi, did you get a reply? I sent a complaint email and got a reply just saying sorry you are not happy!
Currently looking for a better deal0 -
