Morning flyladies. Thanks for the list Valli. I'm in this week as I'm feeling better and later in the week I'm back at the paid stuff (well, job hunting).

I have lots to catch up on so will just see how far I get today although DH and I will also pop out for the afternoon and I have a match this evening.

    Have a great day everyone.

Valli, I forgot to say yesterday that on Friday/Saturday I listed all my herbs and spices with Best Before dates :o and have Blutacked the list to the inside of the cupboard door.
I even threw out a couple of really old spice jars (2004? certainly - going by the brand - from before I moved in 2009 ) and bought new ones. :D[/QUOT

I can remember you moving, but - 8 years ago? Great idea with the spices. I should probably chuck out some of mine.

Excellent work - best before dates are considered to be mere guidelines in Valliland:rotfl::rotfl: though I draw the line at prices such as 1/6 (I am proud of my ability to write prices in old money, due to the fact I liked playing shops and I had a toy cash reguster:rotfl: I suppose).

Having a coffee. Have run WM x 2, TD x 1 as DS needs a clean shirt and he's at work at 10, and WM x 1. Kitten fed and toileted.

DD has signed up for the Muddy Run which means the team now has 3 members.

For anybody feeling deja vu I recycled the list from Easter Monday!:T

    Morning,

We're in thanks for the lists xx

Beggar all sleep last night again, so on a go-slow here. No matter, we've no plans except to tidy some children's rooms and wash some bedding.

Just had coffee #1, fed the furries and DS. DD says she has tummy ache. She's either reacting disproportionately or her appendix is exploding ;)

Need to go find my patience :rotfl:

    Morning all :)

I'm in, thanks for the lists. Had a lovely lovely day yesterday with DH. Walked over 15,000 steps around the village then up to a pub for lunch, perfect. Came home and watched Pretty Woman, even more perfect!

DH going to pick kiddies up shortly and I have two hours paid stuff starting in 13 minutes:rotfl: better slurp this brew then crack on! Will take the children to the park after lunch, then hopefully they will be happy to settle down and watch a film this pm.

    Hugs all round xx

  • Hi All
Hope you don't mind if I join. I clean up regularly but haven't established a routine since I moved to this house last year and want to as thinking about cleaning wastes my time off work. 😀

So I am going to put 2 hours in now cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, rabbit :D and vacuum top to bottom to get me off to a decent start then will follow thread each day to keep on top of it. Many thanks for the thread hoping it will organise me :A

    Welcome Rachiedabbler!

Thanks for the lists Natty and Valli. I'm working my way through my monstrous one slowly but surely. Rather chuffed with how it's all coming on, actually, so I must have forgotten something really important. OH is out and about so I've got a clear run at it for a few hours which helps.
    Better is good enough.
  • Thanks Honey bear :)
Didn't manage as much as wanted in 2 hours but emptied and filled DW, cleaned sandwich toaster, toaster, micro, rabbit, surfaces, 18 cupboard doors, 3 drawers, vacuumed downstairs and mopped kitchen floor. Looking forward to a routine. Happy bank holiday :)

Everything you do helps, and that sounds rather a lot in one go to me Rachiedabbler.

48 of the 57 things now done, some I can't do until this evening and I've got one monster biggie to do this afternoon. Rather chuffed.

Now, practise saying...... No. Go on, say it...... No. And again...... No. Now keep practising, so that it automatically comes to mind when someone wants you to do anything you don't wish to, don't have time for, or they could perfectly well do for themselves. ;)

Rachiedabbler welcome; you'll find plenty of support here. :o

I'm Flying off-liste this week, as I need to be careful not to set myself back again health-wise. However, we've done a foray to @ldi - Mr LW got a £1 coin stuck in the trolley so he went to get help, meanwhile I managed to dislodge the coin (and pocketed it) ;) at which point we decided we'd manage with a basket on my lap. Thanks to my skill at Grocery Tetris, we managed to get everything on my shopping list into the basket. :T

I've also steam-cleaned the bath-lift, bath and wash basin to within an inch of their lives - Mr LW got lumbered with scrubbing the loo.

Oh yes, I did a WM load of his clothes first thing (loaded the machine last night ready to kick off this morning); just hoping it stays dry long enough to get it all dry outside.
