I am in the Guildford area and the only things under £100k are mobile homes, shared ownership places and retirement flats!

Actually, there are several tiny bits of land for sale, but I doubt any would get planning permission and they are too small to put a horse on. I wonder who would buy 1/4 acre in the middle of a field?

There are plenty around where I live for less than 100k, I'm in Sheffield. Yes houses prices in London/South are high but shock horror the further north you go house prices tend to drop. Not sure why this is a surprise as it is generally reported in the media that house prices are sky high in the South East but not so in other places.

A lot of my postcode is actually outwith the NP boundary.


But you are right, crossing into the NP adds at least 40% to the price of a property.

nothing in my area less than £150k and I live in the North. if I extend my range by 3 miles there is a 1 bed retirement flat for £85k.
