Read back to post #28. The comments since then have been in reply to a poster who did indeed buy from Amazon.

As I keep saying though, nothing said here will convince Amazon to change their policy with regards to reviews. Price comparisons and delivery complaints will continue to be deleted prior to publication.

Again, that's not relevant to the statement I was actually replying to.

Which was "Why would they accept a review from someone who DIDN'T buy the product from them (or receive it for the purposes of a review)?"

The fact is, they regularly publish reviews from people who didn't buy the product from them. This is all I was saying.
