Think the father has every right to see the bum slapper and ask for an apology in front of the staff who have been effected by his actions.

Since the father was not touched, does not work there and is not the legal guardian of the fully-grown adult this happened to, he has absolutely no rights whatever, and if he does decide to strike the man concerned he may find himself facing police action for assault.

The female staff member is the only person due an apology.

So you stop being a caring parent when your child reaches 18yrs old and is classed as an adult.

Na i"ll always offer my children assistance and protection for as long as they want it.

That's fine. But if you infringe on other people violently, you will be on the wrong side of the law.

Ask for an apology all you / he want. It makes no difference. When told to jog on, do so.

Your jumping to conclusions...i stated the father has a right (as a dad looking after his flesh and blood) to ask for an apology.

You start on about violence....i stated an apology should be asked for.

No you said you would protect your children. Admirable of course, and defence of another is a valid form of self defence. But in this case, no-one is at risk of immediate harm.

Well if you're asking me for an apology, yes I would say that. I assume you're not.

So the accused would be the subject of my comment.

I wont get into theological discussions of what I believe to be fictional characters.

No not asking you..yes sorry wasn't saying the father has any legal right, just seeing the situation as a dad would.

They might well be but for me as a dad,i couldn't imagine not offering my help (might not be wanted which would be fine) to either my kids or my wife.
