welcome to one hell of a week.
    ..........
It's not all sunny in this house today, despite the lovely weather. OH had one of his unaccountable rages this morning (think a red-faced toddler having a temper tantrum and you'll get a fraction of what he's like ) and deliberately smashed my nicest and favourite teapot..........
Gosh - it sounds like an awful day for the both of you  Sending you some big squishy hugs, lots of empathy and some 'things will get better' vibes post haste :D

Still plodding along here. Did a pine tree peoples survey today and also have just over £10 to add from bank account interest :j

Hope you all have a super Tuesday

shelly. have a lovely holiday. relax and just enjoy it. we all need a break from time to time. we can't keep.going without refueling the engine.

your voucher, if it is the one I think it is, there have been problems with the codes showing as expired when inputted. I would contact snatch and check with them. then tell the buyer it's valid or give the new one from snatch.

mine hasn't replied yet but ebay have said I have until 4 June to sort it out. I have written to ebay explaining all that has happened and how I find it very suspicious that out of 3 items posted the same day, the one with fixed instructions has gone missing.....

I won £10 at old people's bingo with my mum. I didn't have to pay to play (and boy, did I earn it, two hours of pensioners farting and making smutty innuendos) so I'm going to count this.

  • One thing I've seen suggested for physical eBay sales (won't work for codes unfortunately), is to set up an email address that's not connected to your eBay account, and then when you send off an item include a note in it that says "If this item hasn't reached you please email [spare account]" to let me know. It helps weed out some of the scammers because they then email that account, which isn't connected to ANYTHING else (eBay, Paypal, Amazon) claiming "My item has got lost", and you can then reply with "If the item got lost then how did you get this email address? I only ever put it inside eBay parcels".

The chap that told me about this runs a business on eBay and reckons that about 95% of chancers give up quite quickly. For those who sell a lot on eBay it might be worth a try, just to try and weed out the worst offenders.

I totally love this ingenuous idea. unfortunately with me the scammers raise a ticket directly with paypal or ebay. but I am going to try this. thankyou.
