Good luck with your auction appraisals, I hope you hear some good news:T. Did you hear about the woman who bought a 'costume jewellery' ring 30 years ago for £10 at a car boot sale and which has been valued by Sotherby's at around £350,000?. It's especially nice as the buyer didn't buy it just to sell on for profit but wore it every day for decades totally oblivious that it was a 19th Century 26 carat diamond:eek:. I love to hear of 'finds' like that. I doubt anyone ever made any megabucks out of any of my tat:rotfl:
Oh my God CBC that's amazing. Don't think there's anything in my stuff wort £35 never mind £350,000 lol but you never know lol. I sent them pictures of some of the stuff we have, they said it's all saleable but didn't give actual values but I think we're gonna go with it, I'd love to go to an auction too so might come back with more than I'm selling lol!!!!
Final total for the month is £1067.05, so happy with that:TSave £25,000 in 2025: #45-£524.15/25, 000

Oh, Aesop, what can I say? Sounds horrendous and am sending hugs your way:kisses3:.
It's not all sunny in this house today, despite the lovely weather. OH had one of his unaccountable rages this morning (think a red-faced toddler having a temper tantrum and you'll get a fraction of what he's like:mad:) and deliberately smashed my nicest and favourite teapot. I love my tea and always use a teapot even for myself so I was very upset, even tearful. Don't worry though. He'll definitely pay. Not just for the teapot either, I'll get my revenge in other ways. Sorry about the rant, can't tell anyone in RL:o
I hope you're all enjoying the Bank Holiday and that the sun is shining on you all:beer:0 -

Sorry to hear about your internet problems Aesop, do you have a library near you that you can pop in to check for replies from eBay?
CBC - How horrible, I don't think I'd ever completely forgive my OH if he deliberately destroyed a favourite item of mineHope you manage to find a nice replacement, was it vintage?
I haven't been on this thread at all in May but I've been plugging away at Textbroker during the month and have cashed in £25.74, so not at my "£3 a day" target but a nice little extra. Can't OP it though as it's got to be saved in Paypal for my website hosting renewel, and I got an email the other day to say I need to renew the URL too, but for 3 more years so I can just get it done and forget about it until 2020 XD
Hope you all continue to make money and enjoy the rest of the bank holiday!"You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.

From what you say I think you've done wonders already paying off £6000 of your debts. You should feel proud of yourself for that:T. Speaking as one who has had/is still having a long battle with debt:o I know how hard it can be. It's a marathon not a sprint but my brain sometimes forgets this:o. There have been times when I've felt so demoralised and exhausted by the length of time it is taking despite me making every economy possible to bring the end date nearer. I just have to give myself a good talking to and remind myself how far I've already come and give myself a virtual pat on the back;).
So go on holiday and have a lovely, relaxing, quality time with your family:beer:. You deserve it and will come back refreshed and ready to really kick those debts:j. Yes, they'll go up a bit in the meantime but you're more than a match for them:A
Thank you so much that's exactly what I needed to hear I think. It is so hard not to be down on yourself, isn't it? At the end of the day the debt was going up and up for years and has gone down every month for 15 months now, one-month setback isn't the end of the world. And we only have the capacity to increase it by £1000 tops so we should catch back up in 3 months.

Aesop I also have an annoying Ebay buyer doing my head in, wants a refund on a voucher I sold him because he says id doesn't work but I know it is genuine as it was from Snatch. I told him I can't refund him as he could just use the voucher anyway now he has the code. He's opened a case against me, it's only £2.20 but he's been so rude to me I would rather take the hit than refund him voluntarily.
On a more positive note I have ended the month running with:
Music Magpie : £37.41
Ziffit : £91.69
Webuybooks : £31.15
Momox : £58.12
Tesco Voucher : £5
