    I agree. I can see why you (mistakenly) might have thought that VOIP calls were free or at least low cost. You should have checked, but we all make mistakes.
    I have not been provided any bill just a report from IT which was wrong in the first place and did not even have the correct country that I called. Normally the country that I call has call rates 10 times cheaper than the country on the incorrect report. Would it be reasonable to ask them for a bill while I am begging to get my job back?
    If you wish to appeal, this is something that should go into your appeal. If the report from IT states the wrong country or the wrong call rates you should point that out.

    I think at this stage all you can do is be completely open and honest about what happened; apologise; give your employer confidence that it won't happen again; and hope the decision is reconsidered.
