Vote with your feet, call them up, ask for code to terminate your account, you actually do not need code any more but it tells them you seriously want to leave.

If you get someone who will not give you an offer then ask to be put through to a manager because you are not happy with the way you are being treated.

I actually found the South African call centre the best at discounts, the Indian one the most arrogant and the Filipino one as totally impotent.

With any deal I would insist that they apply a credit to make up for the difference between the deal and the price you are being offered.

Mention to them that Sky have been offering £65 for a years Broadband with Line Rental.

You must be kicking yourself, if you had paid attention you could have been on that £65 contract now and told TT where to shove it.

I hate to say never, but I will never use TalkTalk again!

Also unless you want to provide a free loan, cancel your direct debit immediately when you cancel, they will bill you for the extra month and then you have to fight to get it back. OFCOM need to stop this shoddy practice of billing you for a service they know they will not be providing.
Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !

Well Charlotte, contacted the loyalty people and got a deal sorted that suits us . Upto 76mbps large fibre, with a guarantee minimum of 44 mbps . Problem is , since this deal my best speed has been 28 mbps, keep an eye on this for a couple of days , if no improvement will definately cancel .

    Hiya Geoff1057,

Can you drop us a message on twitter (@TalkTalk) so we can take a look at your broadband speeds for you?

    Thanks
