Just spoke to some one again from Talktalk chat ,who probably is from a call ctr in deepest Africa, to ask about a new deal . Gave me a big fat nothing, asked about deals for loyal customers ,nothing . Said i had only been with them since 2014. (was with tiscali originally before being taken over by talktalk in 2009 , so probably been with them at least 10 yrs), Lady said i am giving you special deal , but that special deal is the same as advertised all over the internet. AGAIN loyalty at its best .

    Thanks,

  • My minimum term is up in June, & I cannot wait to leave. These last two to three months my internet has been dropping out like a yo-yo. Some evenings I haven't been able to connect at all. Otherwise, I'm lucky if I get a straight half an hour without it dropping out on me.
I'm currently sat in my lounge, using my mobile data to post this as my internet that I'm paying £20 a month for is not working, AGAIN!!! I cannot get through to the call centre & the live chat person had the cheek to try & flog me a £34 a month contract when I'm not even getting the service I'm currently paying £20 for.
    Truly shambolic.

Earlier last month i was having problems with my internet connection ,and really bad crackling phone line, had to phone talktalk to report the problem on my mobile , kept me on line for 35 minutes at a cost of £15 for the call. Have been with Tiscali/talktalk for as long as ive had internet,(some years) rang for a quote, two people gave me the same quote, giving me a discount of £2 per month . Thats loyalty at its best. Time to change i think

If you're being charged around 42p per minute to call an 0345 number then you need to be looking at your mobile supplier as well.

    http://www.ispreview.co.uk/review/top10.php

The top two on the top left list on that page are decent providers.

I don't know how old you are, but if you're as old as me you may have have heard the truism "You only get what you pay for". Well, in the case of internet service it is certainly true. You can have cheap, or you can have good. What do you want?
