I know I didn't report to the police because the guy was still telling me to wait. I get he took advantage of me. We was still talking at school like friends so I couldn't just phone the police I still thought that he was still depositing the money.0
-
Why did you allow him to deposit this money from his 'savers card'?0
-
I don't know he was able to persuade me also one weird thing is my last bank statement after Barclays closed my account was a savings account statement and I never had a savings account I only had a normal bank account.0

Is he a hypnotist?0

Lol no but he was really persuasive he told after he will give my card back the next day it really influenced my decision the time frame he gave me so the next day I ask and he's like you get it next week and the next week I ask and he says the next week it went on and on then I realised how this has escalated.0

And you still didn't go to the police. Can this troll/fraudster thread get locked now?0

Why did they need your card to deposit into your account?
They could just use a paying slip.0 -
You can still go to the police now...0

As treasurer of a bowls club. I make many payments by bank transfer. There is no question of needing anything other than the payees sort code and account number.
If there were degrees of naivety the OP would surely be 0 out of 10.
That is, unless he/she were knowlingly facilitating a crime.0
