He was my friend at school and he was able to talk me into giving out my account details know he won't admit what he done with it.0

I get why. You guys think I planned this. I really didn't he was my friend at school and the mistake that I made was trusting him with my details. Everything else that he did was completely out of my control. All I have is this wired emails that I got sent about my account and also the fact that I got a savings account statement as a last statement.0

Not stick large sums into your account and demand your bank card.
Or give cash.0 -
The truth is I made a really stupid decision but I didn't know that my friends intentions was to do fraud with my account. He told me he will deposit the money and give me my card back the next day. And I trusted him with it not knowing that this was gonna happen.0

Weekend troll, surely?
Hasn't answered any questions asked to explain the situation.
Just cryptic responses and going over the same ridiculous point every time.0 -
If what you're saying is true then you should report him to the police.
Be completely and totally honest with them. Sometimes innocent people feel too embarrassed to tell the complete truth and start telling white lies to avoid looking foolish. But this makes you look guilty.
Not reporting him makes you look guilty too.
I don't care whether you're innocent or guilty. Sometimes people make dumb mistakes and break the law, the important thing is to admit your guilt, accept any punishment and work to prove you have learnt from it.0 -
I don't see how it's correct because I only breached the policies of the bank and the situation was out of my control the guy took control over the bank account so he could do anything with it.
The guy offered you a way to make some money no doubt telling you he needed to deposit a cheque or some money in your account and in return you could keep some of it. If that didn't set off an alarm in your head that it was dodgy, most likely money laundering, then I quite frankly don't know what to say.
When I wanted to gift my daughter some money for her birthday which I wanted to pay into her bank because I didn't want it going in the post I asked her for her sort code and bank account number and then did a fastpay of the amount.
When my wife wanted some money paid into her account which was cash she gave me her paying in book. Giving out your sort code and bank number isn't against bank policies, handing over your card is. Reporting it stolen when you say you've given it to a mate looks as dodgy as hell especially if there's no crime number from the Police because you've not reported it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
