It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Pray for us...
The MAD squad have suggested we "gie this a go, eh? Nae, bother tae us lot, eh?"
https://soldierscharity.org/events/the-cateran-yomp-2020/#the-yomp
... having an... ahem, "lively debate" over whether we should enter and register for it and if so what distance we should enter for and such like atm... 36 or 54 miles... completing the distance within 24 hours
General consensus is heading towards "going for Gold" on the basis that once we get going we'll be wanting to do the lot anyway...
We know that we can do the 36, we have each done over 30 mile day hikes before whilst carrying full packs. So, the thinking is that with lighter, minimal weight packs we may be able to push ourselves further and complete the entire 54 mile route...
Yes, we are quite definitely MAD...BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron

Morning Folks
been a while since last update (again)
Been busy, as usual, with work and enjoying the nice weather when we have it hiking and camping
Orf on holibobs again, been grabbing days away when an where we can, which has been grand so far...
however, car has let us down over weekend and needs repairedthankfully, it's not as costly as we first thought, it's a broken belt rather than the alternator, however it makes quite a dent into the budget for this month. Should be back on the road again sometime today.
Hope everyone is doing grand

Good to hear from you. Pleased to read all is going well apart from the car. Although I miss the convenience of having a car I don't miss the expense.
Enjoy your hiking and camping breaksI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
