    Been absolutely mad busy with work past few weeks, hence no real updates / posts...

    SO glad tis Friday and the weekend begins this avro.

    Planning on hiking/camping an exploring a load of hill forts n ancient settlement sites this weekend

    Have two brews to bottle off on Sunday to replenish me cellar ;)
    Some cooking n baking for and with the GF is also planned.

    Morning Folks :D

    Sorry that I've not been posting much lately... been really busy with work lately.

    This week however, we've been orf on holibobs.
    We managed two nights away hiking / camping in the wilds of Galloway but the weather was / is to quote the GF "bloody awful" and we were being eaten alive by the midges, the GF got the worst of it (the wee b'strds really do seem to prefer southern blood...) even the pups weren't happy.

    So, we've spent most of week either at home or orf visiting interesting places...
    We have also managed to catch colds :eek: which we think was down to spending our last night camping in pretty damp conditions and that there is a bug going round the GF work atm so she is blaming her colleagues for passing it on...

    Today is going to be a lazy one and we're staying in our blanket fort and watching DVD's and playing on PS4 and stuff.

    Over the weekend, weather dependent, we might get out for either a visit somewhere or a hike.

    OH, before I forget, have booked a a sneaky wee weekend away for October as a surprise for the GF... which, I will be telling her about over the weekend :D

    As always, the finances are tight but ticking over. Memories and savings are being made and I know I'm doing better and making progress, even if it's little by little it all adds up to a positive ;)

    Hope everyone is having a great day and I hope to get back with more regular updates again.

    'Tis Friday again...

    Been another busy week with work and have almost fought off this bloody horrible "summer cold".

    Weather for weekend is not looking good so our hiking options are limited to local wanders.

    Things ticking over ok and the GF is delighted at having a weekend away planned for later this year ;)

    Nowt much else to report really...
