Probably best you start your own thread.0 -
The thread is a year old.
You need to read the current posts from today, this one is ancient.

Hi danielcraphael,
I’m in Glasgow so the regulations are slightly different here to contest the charge. I got my charge dismissed by speaking to the manager of the one of the shops I’d been in at the time of my charge. I spoke to 5 store managers and they were all exasperated by the way the car Park is operated and had numerous cries for help over the years. My friend is currently fighting a PCN in Sunderland but is following the MSE advice on this forum - basically DO NOT PAY, DO NOT ADMIT YOU ARE THE DRIVER, DO NOT BACK DOWN. It will feel scary but stick to your guns and you will walk away Scott free. Bottom line they are not going to bothered to take you to court for a piddling £600 -
Thank you. I used the boiler plate appeals notice to appeal online - max parking 120 minutes, I parked for nearly 4 hours. I attached copies of my bank statement to the appeal showing I was a genuine custimer and my appeal has been granted and my parking charge cancelled.
I don't think this would have happened without all the great advice I found from the community here.
Thank you thank you thank you0 -
Sorry, but I can't see the NEWBIES thread anywhere at the top of Page 1. I'd be really grateful for your help in finding it. Thanks.0

As this is a very old thread, please do not post further here, open a new thread of your own after reading the NEWBIES FAQ sticky. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just a quick one to note my experiences with this company. I received a letter saying i'd not bought a ticket, pay £60 now or £100 later. I remember buying the ticket so responded saying i'd indeed paid. Turns out I still had the ticket and had legally paid and displayed for the correct amount of time covered by their notice letter. IMHO how many people must get stung by these letters, it's nothing short of a scam.0
