Thank you all, really appreciate the feedback. Cherry we did take a 6 week break between the 6 funded sessions and the private restart. It was to give space to think it through and not just knee jerk.Yesterday was as close to entirely unproductive as you can get. Today has to be different. The weekly conversation with mr wii has been had and I’m down 1lb. This may have been due to a seriously irritated tummy yesterday. Either way, I’ll happily take it.Today things need to progress. Apart from anything else, clients need work completed so they can fund it from this year’s budget. I have one invoice poised to go.Bed needs changed so laundry is required and a quick sort of and disposal from the hot press.Today I am grateful for

I had an unproductive day yesterday, too. I put it down to cold and rain, and count it a chance to build ourselves up (and wind ourselves down) ready for the next productive day.
Good to hear the weight is heading in the right direction, but I hope you feel better today.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Well, you all know how something can come along that takes the legs from under you, well that was my Wednesday evening. Not quite the worst news a parent can get but, depending on outcomes, it might be. It was completely out of the blue and has led to me deciding to step back from my diary though I will continue to lurk. I cannot bring myself to discuss this but equally cannot not discuss as it has rocked me to the core. I’m illogically afraid that discussing possible outcomes when my mind is in a dark place, could manifest these. I would ask that if you stumble across my name, that you send positive thoughts my way and towards my family.
this is one of those times where money cannot directly help. However, having fall back options provides comfort (even if this week it has led to over reliance on takeaways and junk). I have long been muttering about needing my backside kicked. Be careful what you wish for. I now see the need to get on top of things for possible future flexibility. I’m still not sure that it’ll happen but I’d be more content if it did.To anyone reading this who may get disillusioned with a debt free journey or long road to riches. Believe me when I tell you it’s so worth it. Money doesn’t buy happiness but having some allows choices which can be priceless. Long term readers of my ramblings may remember when I Tilly Tidied the value of any grocery vouchers used to reduce my mortgage which was three times the one originally taken out for house purchase due to consolidating personal debt. Knowing that I have realisable assets makes a difference. Stick with your journeys even if, at times, they seem to take you backwards.
