I agree with jwil on the clothes sorting - this is all part of your progress and you are doing so well. You must feel so positive though about the dress and jumper.:T

  • Well one of the trustees kindly sat in on the staff meeting. This curtailed the uprising. Staff were not always happy but I was on fairly safe ground with most things as it was more about what they should be doing than introducing anything new. We then went to the movie which I have been told was very very good. Without knowing the back story on the characters, I was able to enjoy it. It was really good value and then dh bought a takeaway. The big difference is it was one meal that we shared. We also managed to get the dog food to save another trip.

Today I have to appear in court as a witness. I am petrified. Apparently there will be a lot of hanging around so I am bringing my laptop and will hopefully get caught up.

    Today I am grateful for

It sounds like you needed the escapism of the movie after that meeting.

Think be fairly scared being a witness but you know your stuff so will be ok.

Keep on with your eating plan - you are doing amazingly :T

  • So, I hung about until after 12 and the case was adjourned. On the plus side, I was able to then meet a friend for lunch, collect and fill a prescription. I then went home and me and the furry one pretty much slept away what was left of the afternoon. I did make some headway on a report while I was hanging about. This is only 10 days overdue!

Today I have a funeral to attend. The mother of one of that client’s employees. My issue is that I am emotionally in continent so am quite capable of sobbing my way through a funeral of someone I didn’t even know. It can be quite embarrassing.

I also have a lot to get done and am determined to get it cleared. I need to get on top of things. This includes chasing up 3 unpaid invoices. Another should be processed today while the last one is pending receipt of my overdue report!

I also need to look at what I’m eating. BS is continuing in range however I’ve noticed that our veg intake has reduced and our portions are creeping up. On the plus side, I’m noticing whereas I wouldn’t have previously. While my focus has to be on bs readings, I really don’t want to gain back the weight lost, especially as I’ve already gotten rid of some clothes!

    Today I am grateful for
A catch up with a friend.
