My understanding of the modelling industry is that if you have the looks, talent or what they want then you'll have jobs galore.
The semi-pro market is prone with scams. Go on the big sites to get advice. One of my daughters friends does acting/modelling and sometimes they will pay for shots to boost her profile and put new content on her site. The man without a signature.0 -
As this thread originates from March 2017, I think you're a little late to the party. I also doubt the OP ever received any refund of the £2K they paid for their daughter's photoshoot.Julian_Franklin wrote: »I wish you and your family the very best of luck in getting this resolved to your satisfaction.
Any reason why you chose this particular thread to resurrect and critique as your first post?0 -
Ah! I must admit I hadn't noticed that it was a 'stale' thread. I was looking around on the internet for stories and solutions for this very particular scam, that's all. I'm wondering, now, why you ask?0

Your very specific "legal" advice, sounds like you are touting for business..Julian_Franklin wrote: »I'm wondering, now, why you ask?

Crikey, no I'm not a lawyer! I'm contract project manager. Not at all touting for business. Just trying to be helpful.0

Post your own thread detailing your own experience then.Julian_Franklin wrote: »Just trying to be helpful.0 -
I'm sorry, are you being cross with me?0

Not at all. You've already agreed that this thread is "stale", but you've yet to share any of your own similar experiences. I appreciate you are a new user, but the original poster of this thread last logged into the site over a year ago and will very likely never read your "advice", let alone act on it.Julian_Franklin wrote: »I'm sorry, are you being cross with me?0 -
This kind of photoshoot scam has been around for years.0
