No Chuck this is beneath you, Corbyn has been to more of my union meetings than any other MP over many years. He has backed public service workers for many years!
Interesting. And yet again I must hark back to the fact that you hated him when he got in power. Something you yourself admitted a day or two ago when you said how "wrong you were about him".
So why did you have such a low opinion of him then? If he used to turn up to your meetings & was such an avid supporter?0 -

I think that you have misread my post, there is clear criticism of the Grenfell rescue services from Crobyn's cronies about the number of deaths reported.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

I didn't think much of it at the time, but when I saw yesterday's protests, I started to see things that I hadn't noticed before. All of a sudden I started to realise what the hell was going on, and it isn't pleasant.
AS I recall they were not protesting against Ms Kendall. Its a sad day when we condemn people for protesting.
I imagine that there will come a day when politicians decide Social Media needs to be controlled.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

A
I imagine that there will come a day when politicians decide Social Media needs to be controlled.
It's possible, and if it happens it'll be because of things like this:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/01/exclusive-labour-election-campaign-boosted-fake-twitter-accounts/
Labour’s election campaign is being boosted by fake social media accounts that pump out positive messages about Jeremy Corbyn thousands of times per day
One in eight messages about British politics posted on Twitter are generated by automated accounts known as web robots or “bots”.
Individual accounts each post up to 1,000 messages per day attacking Theresa May or promoting Labour. They are set up to look like personal user accounts to trick other users into thinking real people are backing Labour.0 -

Lot's of people call themselves Corbynites, (nicer term than cronies), doesn't mean he agrees with everything they say does it!0 -

Nobody said that they were protesting against her, I'm a Tory voter, and I find her very reasonable, so I can see why Portillo would say that.
If Corbyn is so reasonable, why are so many vastly experienced and talented Labour MP's (much more so than Corbyn) on the back benches, rather than is his cabinet?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
Are you saying it's your co-workers in the custodial services who stink, or the inmates?
Either way that doesn't seem like an appropriate response.
Perhaps you should look for a new job you actually enjoy. It might give you a sunnier outlook on life. Can't be much fun being in the nick all day, not much different than being a prisoner yourself?
No I'm saying I can smell it a mile off. Talking about a sunnier outlook on life....not long to go now and a good pension to boot paid for by people like you;)0 -

No I don't think I will. Why not answer the question.
Obviously because you don't want to publically fess up to the fact that your statements contradict each other :rotfl:
Simple facts are you hated Corbyn when he was won leadership because you considered him electable. Because he did slightly less badly than you expected in the election you've changed your stance & are now desperately trying to air-brush your previous condemnation of him out of existence.
A bit sad really.
But please don't try to con people on here that Corbyn was trotting up to your Union meetings & supporting you for years as if he was some wonderful guy you rated, when you couldn't stand him until the moment you thought he might get into power.0 -

Most of them wouldn't support him because they saw him as a joke who couldn't win. Many have now changed their minds....including me.0
