Spoilt my ballot paper this morning. I can't in all honesty vote "for" any of the candidates; even the least worst has too many negatives.

I think it will be a close run battle, and difficult to predict.

But, predict I must so I'm gonna go with ..... (drumroll) ....

BBC Election Night, by a small margin.
ITV will be a bit frumpy by comparison.

C4 will go all alternate, with a talking owl making the predictions.

Sky will act as a sort of sounding board, for their mates at Fox in the USA.

I voted against the incumbent in my seat as much as anything else, mind you I really dislike the incumbent!

I voted Green - i'm in a safe Lab seat 20,000 plus majority. Hope the Greens get their deposit back.

Lots of my friends and family still haven't made up their minds....

A spoilt ballot for me. Makes no odds - if the Labour incumbent doesn't win I'll eat my hat.

The polling centre was as quiet as morgue and I had the world's noisiest pencil so it was obvious to the invigilators that I was writing more than an 'x'. Was going for 'none of the above' but stopped at 'none'. Felt like an insurgent.

Pluses for me if Labour win.

    - no grammar schools
    - no fox hunting
    - We probably won't have to fund private health insurance when we retire in 5 years
    - we probably won't leave the EU
    - My youngest will get a free year at Uni this autumn - saving £12k
    - my kids might get £100k worth of student loans written off

Struggling to come up with much else at the moment. But let me think on it. Also I'm sure there will still be plenty of chances to make money.

Interest rates will all most certainly go up - a decent interest rate on savings at last :T:T

    Likewise annuity rates will rise

Likewise house prices will fall or flat line making housing more affordable for our kids

    In other news;

Theresa May unveils final major U-turn of election by voting Labour
In an unusual change of stance, the Prime Minister has reassured those intending to vote Conservative, that just because she happens to have sided with the main opposition party, doesn’t make her any less of a credible leader.

Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

This is pretty apt. I've been suggesting Boris appears to have been padlocked into a sealed box for the last couple of weeks. It must have been a tight squeeze when Dianne Abbott joined him.

BORIS Johnson has finally chewed through the masking tape that has sealed his mouth in the run-up to the election.

Johnson, who was bound and gagged by fellow Tories after his last gaffe in a Sikh temple, is now audible again and may even manage a major calamity before the end of the day.
