A disgusting abuse of the system.
The law (i.e. The system) allows Britishpeople who are resident outside of Britain a vote as long as they have not been away for 15 years. I am very close to that cut off point.
You can not blame me, blame the "system" that is presently run by Prime Minister May who had promised to extend the 15 year cut off to indefinite. Perhaps you did not know that? There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Frankly I need say no more.
A nicely phrased insult from a bully boy. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

I wonder if popping back and registering under a UK address in year 15 would reset the clock?
Interesting thought but I am pretty sure you have to do a little more than "popping back"
It is perhaps a little surprising that, in Britain, when you all go to vote in June (and in May for the local elections) you will not be asked to prove your identity!
My wife when she votes on Sunday in the French elections will have to show her ID card and state her address before she is allowed a voting paper. Don't think for one minute that voter fraud is confined to South American dictatorships. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

"Bully boy"?
Have we not been here before and found that in fact it is YOU that is the bully?
Borne out nicely by your original immoral post, BTW.
Or are you not then attempting to influence others (in this case a UK election, no less) despite having absolutely no desire to be part of whatever results from your actions?
The post you quote is then quite correct.
"Morally bankrupt" is the phrase that springs to mind.
Just because something is legal does not make it morally correct.
It is quite legal to cheat - at a game of Monopoly for instance.
That does NOT mean it is morally right to do so.
Such underhanded methods as displayed so regularly by you do make me wonder if you have any concept of morality.0 -

Well said.
No matter whether you are pro or anti Brexit, exerting influence (because that's what a vote is) from outside the country whilst wanting nothing to do with that country is at best dishonourable.
Previous citizen or not.
Are we to understand that you also voted in the referendum?
Why do you think there is such a furore over attempted Russian attempts at influencing for example the USA presidential election, and now attempts in France too we are told?0 -

You could fund Gina Miller as well. Now that her court bid failed. Asking other people to cough up in order to fight another battle on her behalf.0 -

I do blame you.
Just because you can does not mean that you must or even that you should.
I could throw myself in front of a bus.
I don't - at least partially out of consideration for the affects upon others of my actions if I did that.0 -
