Regarding the corbyn radio interview, I dont see anything bad about having to check his documents to ensure he gives a right answer, its better than making numbers up or saying "I will move money around".
Its sort of like how dragons den dragons rip into people for not able to remember figures in their head whilst they all sitting there with notepads.0 -

I suppose it is okay that on the day you launch and campaign for your flagship childcare policy, with free childcare for 2-4 year olds, (even for parents who aren't working) and after just visiting a nursery you are interviewed and don't have a clue how much it is going to cost.
Just imagine, mums can watch Jeremy Kyle in peace whilst the little ones are being looked after at the tax payer's expense.0 -
I'll be voting conservative regardless and I'm a registered nurse, I'm happy to keep the tiny 1% pay rise and have someone half decent running the country. Small sacrifice to pay I say, especially with some of Corbyn's beliefs.
Thanks for that LuckyG.
It's good that someone pushes back against all the publicity about underfunding and staff shortages.
Would you care to tell us in which hospital you work or at least the county. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Lots of talk of bias in this thread.
Now we know "exactly" the negotiating position that will be taken by the EU on both Citizens rights and the financial agreement who will be the first Journalist/media to ask May and Corbyn if they have read it and do they agree!
The documents are here published a couple of days ago.

FWIW, I think that both campaigns have been shambolic. May comes across as prickly and she has failed on certain key points (e.g. dementia tax) to understand the mood of the country, Corbyn and his team come across as incompetent. Farron is floating around in the background somewhere unwanted and ignored.
I'm about as centrist as you get and I'm struggling with how to vote for any of this shower.
Mind you, we should have known from the crap campaigning during Brexit that the bar would be set pretty low. Just what you need when entering one of the most critical stages ever as a country. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm just hoping that the remaining week of campaigning doesn't descend into a Brexit-style mudslinging match. Personally I've had quite enough of the truly awful negative style of campaigning.
What chance some positivity in stances for this last week?0 -
