If Miliband was still leader, I may have voted for him this time round but definitely not Corbyn. He still lies about his IRA past because he did not keep meeting them to endorse peace, the eventual peace process had nothing to with him. He met them because he supported their cause, the British Army was in Ireland and because of that he supported the IRA bombing the UK, tit for tat.

The biggest thing though is that

The biggest thing for me is that the Labour members who voted for him know this and they voted for him TWICE - what does it say about them?

She picks a better shadow cabinet.

Seriously, picking Diane Abbott makes you question the qualities Corbyn looks for.

Well, I guess the tightening polls might make for a good turnout.

Shock poll shows Corbyn making ground on Conservatives at just six points behind

A NEW poll has added to fears that Jeremy Corbyn could be edging closer to Downing Street with Labour just six points behind the Conservatives.
The Survation poll puts Theresa May’s Conservatives on 43 per cent unchanged from a week ago but Labour on 37 per cent up three points.

    BUT
According to the respected prediction website Electoral Calculus this poll would give the Tories a majority of 40 with 345 seats up 14, Labour down seven to 225 and the Lib Dems down five to three seats.
The poll by Survation for ITV's Good Morning Britain (GMB) showed that 53 per cent believe Mrs May would make the best prime minister.

Sad to read that. I hope you (and the rest of us) don't live to regret your decision.

I think they'll be able to sleep comfortably knowing that they made the right choice.

Are we allowed to have a go at people for what way they decided to vote, on here? :money:

Yet bemusingly, there are still many on here who will bleat on how the BBC is biased against the Tories, when any sensible person knows that they give all politicians a hard time, as they should. I do wish people would either put up or shut up about so-called BBC 'bias' as it is tedious in the extreme.

I think the fact that people claim there is bias both against Labour and Tories demonstrates the BBC is getting it about right. You get many of these claims of bias in comment sections of the Telegraph and Guardian. I think people claiming bias are just annoyed that the BBC and C4 etc are not echo chambers for their own views.

I heard yesterday on the radio that the gap between May and Corbyn is much narrower amongst female voters (1 point) than it is male.

Now, is it qualities in Corbyn that attracts women voters, or is there something about May they don't like?

As a bloke I'm not really that bothered what gender our PM is. I might be missing some of the finer aspects.
