Credit Limit ?

Hello Everyone :j

Is there any credit card companies which have a higher limit, also the lines of £8k ?

I have a credit card with my bank now, would they go up to £8k ? it's 2K at the moment and they offer to go up to 2.5k last year but i never did ...

It's not as simple as that.

It boils down to how well you manage your accounts, your income, your current credit balance. Etc etc etc.

I have two card with a limit above 8k. MBNA and Barclaycard. They do seem to be the most generous from reading around on here (I didn't apply to them for a big limit)

Can I ask why you want a larger limit?

Also worth noting, they will base it on current up to date information they have so although £2.5K was available last year, it may not be now.

Yes, there are several that offer larger limits. Over the years we've had high limits on Barclaycard, Capital One, MBNA, Nationwide, Tesco, Halifax to name but a few.

That said, it will all depend on your financial position.
