  • I am kind - I'm not putting vinegar there! He'll just have to suffer until the swelling goes down.

Havnt read the whole thread yet - so apologies if I missed something important - (((hugs))) if needed & Happy Birthday Mushy Peas. Enjoy your lunch Shez - I lived in Leigh for most of my life & there are some lovely places to eat but obviously Osbournes in Old Leigh is perfect - plate of prawns and a beer from the pub opposite.

Thanks for DS birthday messages yesterday. He is having his party today, bouncy castle is up, room decorated with balloons etc so am just having 5 mins of peace & quiet before madness descends.

No idea what is for dinner tonight but I must remember to get something out of the freezer for a roast tomorrow.

Have done no washing or ironing today so I pretty much know how I will be spending Sunday.

    Have a fantastic weekend.

Pink - Best wishes for your son for Tuesday.

  • Afternoon :hello:

Well I'm still waiting for my PruHealth membership pack to come through, but I phoned them yesterday for my policy number and as a result I have now joined a gym :j

It was lovely to go swimming on a Saturday morning in a facility that's aimed at the Monday to Friday crowd. I actually had the pool to myself for a while!

Hopefully I'll get into it, lose some weight, and get my general motivation back! (When I've shed a couple of dress sizes I think I'll have to pay a visit to Doctor Nelski to have some wardrobe therapy ;))

Not sure about joining the OS weight loss thread quite yet, because at the moment I haven't got into the habit of full-time healthy cooking and OS dieting, and I feel like a bit of a fraud joining the thread just because I've joined a posh gym :o I'll probably see you over on the other thread soon, when I deserve it :p Anyway, I've updated my signature ;) My body is a temple... my body is a temple... my body is a temple... :rotfl:

Penny-Pincher!! - Hope the wedding is going well. Sounds like a really cool thing to do! Also sorry you're continuing to struggle health-wise ((((hugs)))).

Big hugs to anybody else who needs them.

This evening I am going to see Carmen (the first night of a "radical" new production). I have a sneaking suspicion it isn't going to be very good - but I am reviewing it, so at least my ticket is free :D

    Love Rzl xx

    P.S. Happy birthday MushyPeas! :bdaycake:

  • Hi there

Has been a long day already!

Got up at 6.30 so I could go and pick DS up at airport - he is here for a stag weekend. He is looking good and it is only 3 weeks or so since he was here with his partner. Probably won't see him now until tomorrow afternoon! We did a quick trip at 8.00 am to see DD, SIL and DGS. They were so pleased to see us for breakfast. However, an enquiry about DH and Me social commitments over the next couple of weeks? Do I think we might have a 4 year old and 2 year old here next weekend? Yes, I would say!!! Love having them so not a problem.

Penny P - sorry to hear your health issues continuing, hope you have enjoyed the wedding and we looked at Edinburgh Zoo for DD's wedding - couldn't accommodate the numbers.
M Peas - Happy birthday and hope you enjoy the theatre.
csarina/twink - my Hogmanay stovies are legendary!!!!
PlumD - hope your dad is OK.
dlb - you are so involved with your DSs football - sure DH will get on fine,
Mrs Mac - well, will book the flights anytime. Is DH resigning his job so we can employ you both? Board and lodging only! He could be the odd job man - how is he on car maintenance?
    HH - hugs
Kyle - just in case I don't get a chance - really, really enjoy your holiday and your hair/hairdresser sounds fantastic.
    Bexxie - welcome.

Well love and hugs to everyone else and hope everything has gone OK today. I don't think I will be back on tonight as we have been asked out. Have thanked posters up to time of signing off.

    Love and hugs to all.
