Belated happy birthday, charlies tribe! Did you have as nice as one as possible considering poorly-ness?

Bank account... I think a lot of people have struggled with January, it's such a long month. At least February is a bit shorter.

  • Thank you Cherry. It was a lovely day.
Just a quick post to say we spent last week getting ready for the boiler installation on Monday,  emptied girls room, pulled up flooring,  cleaned everywhere. And the man that did it decided to run the pipe around the outside of the house. DH was not impressed  :D
We still haven't started putting it back yet.
Not much else to report here, trying not to spend on anything not needed but the things that are needed seem to be creeping up (gym leggings for girls today as theres are extremely holey). We also started some 1-1 swimming lessons for DS2 yesterday,  he absolutely loved it. It's not cheap but hopefully his confidence will improve enough to get him in a busier pool.
Better go and make DD2 some tea to take to gym as shes there for 3 hours, she cant do too much though. The dog stood on her foot last week and put his claw through her toe! She had a bit of the nail removed yesterday and the skin 'burnt' away.

I hope your DD's foot is better soon - and that the pipe around the outside of the house isn't too unsightly. Seems odd they did that.

    Wow its been a while!
I don't know whether to carry on with this diary or start a new one but I definitely need to be back here. I am now off work again and need to bring down the spending.
Hopefully just putting this here gives me the confidence to post regularly again.

Thanks Cherry. I've not been too good but hoping to feel better now on new meds.

We have been spending way too much! The pup cost us £1000 after a trip to the emergency vets when he managed to eat one of those huge chocolate bars after DD1 fell asleep with it on her bed. Added more to the debt, which is why I'm back posting (I read threads every day!). I really need to sit down and go through everything and write a new list of debts.

It's been a quiet morning,  we were all late up. I've drank way too much tea, put a load of washing out and one in the dryer (my lines falling over, daren't put the weight of towels on it) and fully cleaned out the rabbit (a surprise addition in the last 2 months. DSIL moved house and couldn't take him with her).

Going to feed the DC and sit and write a plan of action for June, which is our most expensive month after Christmas.
