No need to worry, lots of people have still not been moved.

Same here - absolutely no signs of PIP round here - I have been on DLA for 12+ years and have been waiting for the forms to come through the letter box for almost 4 years - probably have to wait another 4 years before they "catch up"

And here, indefinite award from 15 years ago. Everytime a brown envelope drops through the door I expect it is my PIP "invitation", but nothing yet.

I refuse to worry about it, they'll get to me when they are ready, and in the meantime I can just get on with life.
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

I am in contact with several disabled people throughout the country who are all waiting (as I am) for the dreaded letter to drop through the letter box - but nobody has recently had one
I was wondering whether the government had given up the whole idea of PIP or was there some other reason for the apparent total lack of recent conversions ?
ie) Which century do they expect to finish the job ?

I had mine about a month ago and took about 30 hours or so to deal with it from start to finish. They have no intention of getting rid of it or not forcing DLA onto PIP, as they've moved the goalposts and changed the application more or less completely with less help to complete so they can take away as many peoples benefits/entitlements as possible.

Hence people who deserve high mobility and a car get nil points.

What do they mean as "registered" ?
Do they "register" everyone currently claiming DLA and assume that 100% will be applying to transfer to PIP or what ?
Because, I for one - have not registered for anything myself..other than 10 years ago when I started on DLA ...

They're moving everyone from DLA to PIP and having just come out the end of completing the devious PIP form - I wouldn't wish that form on anyone as they have omitted the real questions that would get you the benefit unless you get help like I did.

You don't need to register - if you change condition or probably in my case - change address you'll get the PIP form sooner rather than later

I was the same - I dreaded seeing the brown envelope with my the transfer to PIP or lose DLA letter.

It finally came a month ago and I had a nightmare of a time completing it and that was with help from a benefit adviser.

It's designed to make you slip up, or not include the information you need to get PIP. I'm only going for lower mobility and the form took nearly 30 hours to write and photocopy the relevant medical supporting evidence and what not.

When you do get it google for a good PIP guide which breaks down the questions or they'll catch you out!
