RBS took £3 last month, waiting to see what they plunder this month - usually 24th or 25th.

Update: They took £2 this month.

I still seem to be paying £3 a month, what I can't tell is whether the cash back rate has dropped or not

They did the same to me, while paying just 2% cashback, so I rang them up and strangely they refunded two months fees, not just two months overpayments!?!

Waiting to see what they do next.

Previously if you had a rewards credit card it waved the fee for the rewards account. Does that still apply for new users? They seem to have redesigned the website with less detailed information...

It is the other way round. If you have a Rewards current account NatWest refund the annual £24 fee for the Rewards credit card. You will still pay the £2 monthly fee for the Rewards current account.
