Late post, another long day. Oh well, no spend so that's good :D

    Today I have:
Miraculously got to payout in 1poll without competing another survey. They obviously took pity on me after last weeks dry spell. They're all yours now Dawn :rotfl:
    Cashed out ^^
Checked FPL and a couple of other loyalty sites
Found a recipe that uses feta (now defrosting) and chorizo and tinned tomato for tea tomorrow
Used some OOD milk in tapioca ;)
Stretched 7 sausages (including 3 thin chipolata things) between 4 in a pasta dish with 2 large portions for tomorrow too :T
Leftovers and fruit to work, picked up 2 packets of biscuits and a large bottle of water from meeting I was in :o
Check fridge for anything else than needs stashing in freezer (or my tummy ;))

Interested in the flower tubs determined are they just the black 'buckets' that they are giving you?

  • Morning guys :) up at my usual time of 5! argh it's so annoying! 'suppose looking on the bright side it gives me time to wake, drink coffee and surf the net in peace before cracking on with the day!

Oh is going away for work today for a couple of days so it'll be me and madam today and tomorrow. Yesterday's love in was a huge success and me and madam seemed to be getting back to our usual state. Hoping this continues. Last time he went away with work she really struggled... I think I will plan some activities for after work to continue helping her feel loved and secure...

What do I need to do today?

    * put a load of washing on and hang out before leaving
    * water any seedlings that need it
    * going to pick up some soil on my way home to pot up 3 raspberry canes at home. Planted 6 at the lottie yesterday :)
    * quick shower once madam is awake
    * make lunches
    * vacuum once oh & madam are up
    * post ebay sale this is getting ridic!
    * relist fleabay items
    * speak to builder about when he is going to start our patio - can't wait for it to be done now. Our garden is an unholy mess at the moment and I don't know how much more I can take!
    * take out veg scraps from freezer to feed the worms later
    * make note of mileage - doing overtime in another borough which is a fair distance it works out I get expenses back of more than it costs me for petrol for the week :)
    * bath, pamper session and early night tonight :)

    that'll do!

Perps they are indeed the ones. Just need to drill drainage holes and they are good to go. I didn't have any success at Mr S' but our local small coop was more than obliging :)

    Morning all!

HappyKitties, is it worth taking down a flask of tea and a good book and just staying put for a few hours while the sun is shining if she's a nervous kitty?

DNMS, sounds like you are doing an amazing job with your DGD :)

I'm awake earlyish (for a day off) as I am going to the solicitors with my mum to sort power of attorney. She's still very on the ball at the moment so best to get it sorted now.

Afterwards we are going out for lunch (mum's treat) with her lifelong friend.

I tried to pay my road tax last night but apparently my MOT has run out. I've tried to arrange one ASAP but the earliest they have is Monday, I will try somewhere else.

Todays house sorting job will be doing the laundry when I get back.

I did get in some food for the teens for lunch but there was a lot of activity going on downstairs in the early hours so I think they may have eaten it already

Better get going, have a good day all! :)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    Morning all!

Was at work yesterday - very busy day trying to get orders and things done round the station in between jobs.
Discovered my MOT had ran out (was convinced it was end of April as opposed to end of March) DH wouldn't let me use it for work (he is right but sometimes I curse being married to a copper :p) so thankfully my crewmate lives near by and she came and took me into work and back home (maybe saved £1 worth of fuel lol).
Drove the car to the garage for MOT and walked back home.
DH onboard with using up the freezer - even made the pasta bake I was planning on having yesterday - fabby! Although it's now getting to wierd food time - DH is a fan of YS but rather than looking at something and thinking "would we eat this normally" he looks at the priced reduction and buys it based on how cheap it is, this means tonights dinner will likely be party sausange rolls, chips and beans :rotfl:
Still waiting on nationwide and virgin money sending through our cards for the new accounts, on that note if any of you have a virgin lounge nearby, a free current account is a good idea, you can then use the virgin lounge whenever you want - free coffee, biscuits, electricity and wifi!
Didn't get a chance to swap mobiles to S123 yesterday as was too busy in work, so will do that today.
Also still haven't dyed hair, will get that done too.
Definitly need to manicure my nails and pedicure my feet.
Have an upcoming birthday, apart from some eyeliner and eyebrow pencil, there's nothing I really want, so am asking everyone for money so I can buy myself a nice new e-cig and bulk buy some e-liquid.
FVD - how many prescriptions do you have, if you have more than 3 then have you thought about a prescription payment certificate PPC?
I keep seeing SFG and SFC what are those?
La escocesa - DH is from fife, I'm from lanarkshire just outside glasgow, it amazing the difference in out dialect - love dinger - yer dain' ma dinger in ha ha!
1LL you said your arms were dry, I just wanted to say try the derma V10 dry skin from either the £shop or equivalent cheap shops, it's cheap as chips but it's by far thee best cream I have ever used. I use it as handcream (paramedic here so forever washing my hands) and it's just the business!
Had a look on everything £5 for holiday clothes - nothing took my fancy
As i missed the MOT, I think it's time to update annual diary, I intended to do this and include birthdays in it too (it's just an A5 word document with 12 boxes in it and tasks for the month such as dentists, vaccinations for the dog, eye tests, MOT, insurance renewals etc but it's handy to look at the end of the month and see what you've got to do, rather than it taking you by surprise (as it usually does). Can you tell my new years resolution was to be more organised :rotfl:

Well I suppose I should get on with the day, came back from the garage and cuddled up with the dog on the bed - making excuses not to move lol!

    L Xx
Debt peak approx £30,000  now debt free!!! :j
My parents always said "If you can't afford it cash, you can't afford it!" so true!.... mind you, turns out we can't afford much lol :rotfl:

    Morning all :hello:
Definitely not feeling the love today - I had a terrible sleep last night, have woken up with a stinking headache and major stress and anxiety. I actually feel like crying and I'm wishing that I hadn't bothered coming into work at all. I've taken some paracetamol and am just waiting for them to do their stuff.
Stressed at work - some simmering issue that's been going on for over a year has reared its head again and I still feel the same about it but others don't think it's acceptable for me to take the moral high ground on this one.
Planning for an early finish, straight home and to bed (except I have a load of marking to do before that can happen). I kind of wish I could go home now because I feel bleugh...

    Hi folks

Big hugs to all. CCL, ziggy - be gentle to yourselves. HK - I hope that kitteh come home soon.

thank you for all your well wishes. Tummy seems ok at the moment thank you but am keeping to quite plain foods.

Not much MSEness to report - just the usual:
    • B/L/D from stores
    • Charge phone in work
    • Sort veg from veg box - freeze anything not likely to be used very soon
    • Check the garden
    • Gym at lunchtime - done
    • Crochet
    • No alcohol (easy due to tummy situation!)
    Not much else!

    Have a good one

    Morning everyone,

The sun is shinning again which always helps although I seem to have a bit of an upset tummy this morning and don't know why.

CCL, hope work gets better for you. I've been in that stressful situation before where I got more upset than my colleagues over a certain situation. All I can say is try not to give it your energy, you need to keep yourself sane so try and block the negativity.... I know it's so hard.

So for me today I shall be:

    - Checking my One Poll
    - Checking Ebay
    - Wait patiently for my payment for selling my shares which I will offer as a F&F payment to some of my creditors
    - Check mystery shopping apps
    - Working from home again today so no lunch spend
    - Dyed my hair this morning at home
    - No laundry today, saving up the masses until tomorrow
    - Will have a rummage around for old clothes and bit for the McMillan Charity bag that came through the door this morning

Have a good one everyone x
