Had a quick look, I can see the practicality of the unit especially if you're buying the extra TV mount - however I'm not sure the price reflects it - i was expecting some amazing looking stereo :rotfl:. I'm not a massive music boff and have bose units that sound great (in my opinion but as I've said i'm not a boff :rotfl: )

Ah, so you haven't completely disagreed then ?
It is basically a 21st century radiogram . I'm unsure if I can really justify the spend tbh. Finding a decent tv/ M!dia unit is a lot harder than expected. A lot have style over substance ,and some are plain ugly. I'd imagine I'd have to spend around £800 for two units or one that holds tv/ amp/ CD player / turntable .
If anyone wants to point me to something , I'm all ears .:)

Yup, apart from a new bathroom, kitchen refurb, carpets, chair, bed, washing machine etc, you've been positively frugal :D.

Haha ! I don't agree with the price, I think it's a huge extravagance and I, like others do worry that you'll end up struggling down the line.
I agree with the practical side
Not my style but then we are all different and only you know what will work in your lovely new flat!
Just one thought, will you be able to play it as much/at the volume you want with neighbours?

Okay, can someone point me to a good , fully assembled
Tv/ hi fi storage unit . ? You could save me £££'s:T:rotfl:

Just had a call from mr. Carpet. He is coming to see me tomorrow eve
Should have place carpeted in 2+ weeks.
I have to basically , have all panting done by next weds.

I have dental appointment tomorrow at 10 am.
I received a text from edf( really g4s) telling me they're gonna change my pre pay meter back to a normal one .
I had to phone edf, and thankfully they're coming between 12-4 pm ,and not 8-12 originally stated.

Received a response to my email from nice tax lady . She met my old boss ( not that one, but just as bad ) . She thought I liked her.
I haven't heard a response from my very brief explanation that my ex boss was not my cup of tea. I'll probably hear no more. Time to move on..

I don't play it very loud at all. I'm well behaved :)
Thankfully., The ceilings are suspended . Things going in my favour : bought flat under budget / I haven't spent 25k yet / I'm due a return of my deposit . Nationwide have booked an appointment for last Friday in may to help me.
Things not in my favour : lots of dental work, including bridge/ implant / no job / Had to pay x amount to do up the place /
Need to slow down in my spending.

    Thanks Anna :)
    Unfortunately , it's not nhs:(
I am on the monthly plan though, so I'm saving something.
Gotta check an envelope I received about that, making sure I haven't missed out .
I think tomorrow - fillings . Next appointment - hygienist
After that- discussion as to whether it's bridge / implant etc
After that , teeth whitening . Not so much glow in the dark, but just a healthy shine

I've cut down on cafe and coffee shop visits also. Combined, it's about 3-4 times a week. Not giving that up, as I need that being a stranger etc.

I agree you need to be getting out and about to meet people - have you looked into any of the other suggestions from before....is there a nice small local you could frequent (not suggesting you turn into a big drinker).

Dentist sounds pretty unpleasant, go for the bright white glow in the dark look - dare ya:p

There are a few pubs around.
When the time is right, I'm thinking of trying 1-2 every other day somewhere . There's obviously poole quay , but there are a few local.
Just waiting for the right time etc.

If you ever saw the episode of friends( it was good once ), where Ross gets his teeth whitened . That's what I'd be avoiding :)

Just had a look at my dental plan . ( practice plan)
On 8 may my first collection via direct debit was £35.34 2x £17.67
Backdated from 08 April when I assume I joined it .
I'm not sure if I've been getting the discount or not because of slight changes of work done etc. Plus, when you've gone through the mill, you just pay and go home . I assume the discount applies after 08 April . I may have a chat to receptionist tomorrow .
