  • Had a great sleep last night . Then st 7am , a message alert on my phone that d p d are delivering a package today . Wow! Time to celebrate . As the time of delivery was not indicated, it meant I had to jump in the shower suddenly anticipating a 7.30 delivery .
    After the shower, I receive two more texts . 1 from d p d . Package delivered between 9.49-10.49 . Then one from u k mail. 12.41-13.41
    No gym today then .

Speaking of sleep . My friend thinks I should've move my bed in a different part of the room to accommodate a wardrobe . I tried that when I first moved in a couple of times, but couldn't get on with it.
Weird I know, but since moving my bed to my preferred position , it just feels 'right '. My friend is a person that can sleep anywhere and doesn't quite get it . It's probably my head :rotfl:

I seem to feel more with it lately . Hopefully that feeling will carry on .

We're having a meet up at brockenhurst on sat . Never been there but supposed to be nice . My friend that was staying over isnt going to now. If he did, I have everything ready . He'll be back later in the year anyway and will crash over then. He lives in Farnham so not too far for him.
I have another cube coming for the vinyl tomorrow . That'll be done then . I'm beginning to love the living room, kitchen , bathroom .
It's just the boiler room that needs doing . The bedroom is full of crates , but only temporary .

Getting concerned AC, four whole days without an update from you is a looong time?
  • Here I am Harz :)
Well,it is holiday time for some , and I haven't had too much going on.
I don't think so anyway :rotfl:
Hope you are well Harz , and all who's reading this .

So, Brockenhurst on Saturday was good . I saw 3 friends I haven't seen since last year , plus my local friend up the road.
They all said I looked way better than last year . Weight was mentioned . They thought I was 4 stone lighter than what I am .
I know what to do .
On Friday I ordered another shelving unit identical to the last one from fleabay , as I have a few more 12" than I realised .
I waited in for package . Despite a few texts and a couple of emails, it was delivered on sat when I wasn't in . Box was bruised and dirty.
Also, the wrong unit was delivered . So, I asked for an exchange . Hopefully no problems as I paid by PayPal. Told them about uk mail .

Yesterday , slightly hungover and very tired .

Today ? I put on the first of my tooth whitening applications .
1 hour . I have to repeat again for an hour this evening . Same tomorrow . I see dentist for a 2 hour session on weds .

I went to the gym walking to and from . Parkstone to branksome .

Tomorrow , same again . Saw the elderly lady today . Nice lonely lady with problems . Delays my workout for about 15-20 mins . Still I got stuff done .

My next mission is to tackle the boiler room this week and get back to playing bass etc . Also to put pictures on the wall.
There may be room for a collapsible table in kitchen . Friend seems to think so .
Waiting for James to get back to me regarding the bath taps and his package has been here over a week . I think he may be on holiday.
I may have to get a unit for under the tv . It's still messy .

    I think that's everything :rotfl::

    Glad you enjoyed Brockenhurst AC.

    Well done on the gym.

Seems like you are well on track with getting organised.

  • Latest update from payplan : 4 creditors /5 debts .
Santander said yes to two of the offers from payplan .
(£962.37..offer accepted of £385.99 /£8,809.11 offer accepted of
    £3,533.16)
    Wescot £5,674.36 ..offered £2,270.00/ will accept £4,824.00
( They are currently checking with Cabot )
    PRA group£6,513.79..offered £2,606.00 will accept £5,862.41
(They are checking with higher management )
    Barclays£952.95 / offered £382.00..waiting .

All in all , great news . Thank you Santander :)
Wescot is a loan passed from Barclays . PRA group is the mint credit card . Looks like I may make a counter offer if the others won't budge. If not, still good to be fair .
It'll probably be next week when I hear more .
  • That's good news AC! Forgive my ignorance, do you have to wait for an answer from all creditors before you accept the others, or could you get moving on the two Santander debts while you wait for final answers from the others?

    Hello Georgina :)

I think it's best to wait until payplan tell me what to do next.
The lady said she expects to hear from the others next week.
Having said that , it could be as early as Friday .
If I was going direct myself , then I would've paid by tomorrow .
I'm sure they'll tell me how to pay , and when .
    I'll keep you posted .
    Thanks ;)
  • That's true, best to follow Payplan's lead :) So glad that this is getting sorted for you, imagine what a weight off your shoulders that will be!
