When I moved here I bought a washer-dryer as there was no room for a separate tumble dryer, and I hate it. It is an Indesit and seems to take ages, and is quite noisy! The ones I looked at wouldn't dry the same load as it washed. I only use mine nowt for towels and to be honest when this one packs up I think I will opt for just a washing machine. Some of my friends love theirs though so I suppose it's horses for courses.

Don't forget there's a washing line in the garden too! Line dried bedding is lovely to sink into at the end of the day.

I truly cannot remember the last time I had a proper sleep. I've given up at least till I move into new abode.
Just saw James. He may be finished kitchen today. Seems like he'll be doing what he can and pop in on Saturday to finish.
I want to see him sat, to give him a tip . Really nice bloke.

    Got dental appt. tomorrow .
Looks like I can paint living room and main bedroom on thurs/ fri
( fingers crossed) . I will then have to paint kitchen , and then bathroom.
I'll feel the pressure off, when the flat is painted.
James is starting another Job. He may take old carpet away if poss.

I think it's about a year ago, I put my flat for sale with chase Buchanan .

    Cost for bathroom £4,975 .

I've paid £4,150 for the btl bathroom. We supplied the tiles and did not have any work on joists so sounds relatively comparable. Glad you're pleased with it :).

    Hey AC
Hope you're pleased with the bathroom - isn't it lovely to walk into everything fresh and new. No comment on the price, mine was cheaper but I knew the tradesmen so that helps :)

Any thoughts on your stereo system from your other thread. I saw you were looking at a £2k one :eek:
