Together Energy?

I thought I would have some fun with this.
So I replied to E.on's welcoming email stating that I did not wish to return to them and it as being forced on me by Together Energy.
I've received a reply from E.on today confirming they have cancelled my gas supply transfer. I don't have gas!!!!0 -
That should make life interesting!0

The farce goes on. Had my invitation to renew with Together (although we will soon be apart). They are telling me that my DD will double if I renew with them, which I thought strange as their Fixed April 19 is not too bad, although certainly not the best.
Having scoured all three pages for the reason: even though I have been with them for eleven long months, they are estimating my annual consumption as double what it should be. I don't think many people will renew if they look at the headline figures.
After all my issues with them, I wouldn't renew with them under any circumstances, anyway.Je suis sabot...0 -
Are we all having fun with Together Energy today?
Well, I got a call from their resolutions team today. They have now reverted back to rejecting me because of the two MAPN's which they claim they cannot provide bills for.
TE appear to have been notified by E.on that I have refused to transfer back to them, and TE have now given me the opportunity to transfer to a new supplier of my choice. They will graciously waive their early termination charge.
I asked how they propose to bill me for my time with them. They claimed it would be calculated manually.
I'm not going to bust a gut to transfer. I have a 12 month contract with them and I will endeavor to force them to honour it.0 -
Today I received a letter from Together Energy: "Your Together fixed tariff will be ending soon".
Based on the estimates for consumption that I gave them last year, my estimated cost for the last year was going to be £2,650 (Yes I know!!) - my DDs haven't changed and my account balance is almost spot on - I presume the estimates were pretty accurate. However good news, they can offer me a new fixed tariff with an estimated annual cost of £1,250 - less than half the price! Awesome! Except studying "the nitty gritty" (their words), they're estimating that my consumption will fall significantly, for no obvious reason. The unit prices are higher than what I am currently on.
How does the regulator let them get away with it?
Didn't see the comment above from Hoof Hearted - seems we have opposite problems! I guess its more incompetence than fraud then!0 -
I cannot believe that they haven't got an algorithm that will produce a reasonable estimate based on the 11 months'consumption that they have been supplying so far. From memory, I think I have consumed 4,300 kWh for the eleven months I have been with them but they are saying that I will use over 9,000 kWh for the coming year. For a very rough guide they could do 4,300x12/11.
As you say, Fromply, incompetence.Je suis sabot...0 -

You want to stay with them?
I've done a price comparison on moving and everything is 20% or more dearer than my current rate.0 -
I guess it all depends on the prices when my contract end in July and whats on offer. Whilst I have had issues... the price is right at the moment.. we'll see :-)0

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of this supplier? Their site seems very basic, no log in for customers so presumably no online meter reads. Their web site says they started 2 years ago, but they don't show up in Cheap Energy Club's comparisons. However the CAB comparison shows them second only to IRESA for me on price. I want to avoid a shambles like Extra Energy if possible though!0
