  • Just seen on the Daily Mail Rewards website that they are changing over to Nectar points 'soon':(. I used to love getting Morrisons paper vouchers every 8 weeks, not so sure Nectar points will be much use to me as I only visit a Sainsbury's about once a year and some of the other places they can be used are too far from us to bother with, such as BP etc. Must check out Nectar's website.

You can spend them on Ebay if that's any good for you, you can earn them there as well, and on Exedia for hotels and hols x

We don't go on holidays:( but the tip about eBay is brilliant. I do buy things on there sometimes:j

Thanks too, Kantankrus for the tip about a once a year splurge at Sainsbury's. I hope your cough/cold/infection is now a thing of the past:beer:. It must have been horrible having to put up with it for so many weeks and have to go to work too.

I'm getting closer to payout on YG, PA and Crowdology but not quite there yet so nothing new from me at the moment - frustrating!!

Still very pleased with so far, and reading everyone elses earnings is spurring me on to do some extra ebaying tonight....if I can find anything to list :rotfl:

    Afternoon all

I use my Nec points at Sainsbobs as well CBC, usually twice a year. I wait until they are having a sale and use them to buy some undies/cheap tees etc. Usually have a punt around for any offers or a sneaky bottle of vino as well ;)

Well, a big whoopee do-dah for me today :j Have been having probs finding a hotel for our visit to DS in Sept.

Usually book through b**king.com as I have a 'genius' level with them and that's supposed to mean discount on the hotel. However, the hotel we usually use is no longer available with them. We like this place as it's not too big, convenient for the bar, has a decent pool, on the beach-front and does a really great buffet breakfast. The best the site was coming up with was another one, not too far away, but £600 without breakfast !

So I bit the bullet, put on my big girl pants and went onto the site of the one we usually use, which is all in Spanish. Long story short - managed to get a booking, with discounts for more than 90 days until dates and over seven days holiday duration. I did have to pay a 25% deposit up front but total cost is 440E - about £400 or just under - saving at least £200. What a result for a bit of effort and a dictionary eh   So I am a very happy bunny for sure.

Hope you all having a great day as well

    Hi all

Nothing to add but I got a call from my mobile provider yesterday about upgrading. I told them I didn't want to pay any more than now and to cut a very long story short I now have a new phone with a bigger memory and more data per month for about £5 less per month than I have been paying. Not sure when savings will kick in but will add for first month when I pay the first reduced bill. I then got an email from mse energy club so thought I would bite the bullet and change energy provider too. That should save approx £50 per month and gives £30 cashback - although I won't get that for about 3 months so all in all not bad for one evening. Today we have been looking at broadband/tv/phone but I got a bit confused so might look again tomorrow and see what I can do with that

    Xx

Nothing much to report for me, I'm up to £12 on PAc now but will wait for it to reach £20 before cashing in so that may end up going on next months.

Lovely news. It's great hearing about people trying to get their necessary expenses down to a minimum. It's terrible how much some of these suppliers charge and they keep putting it up every so often. Soo many people just don't bother to try to keep on top of these bills and are wasting loads of monies for nothing. So very well done indeed :T :T

Note to all - The other ones to check of course, are where you might be paying into a savings/current account that is interest paying. Please make a note of the end date and get the monies moved as soon as the rate drops - it can go from 5% to less than 0.5% in a month

I have added £8.34 cash-back on my cc today so creeping towards my target atm. Still four days to go folks, so I'm sure we can all make a final effort and push onwards and upwards :D

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday
