My car boot sale went very well and the lovely sunny morning brought out lots of sellers and buyers :j. I made £141.25 and considering it was pretty low-quality stuff (AKA tat;)) I was really pleased...........
OH still feeling really ill with his hacking cough so I'm waiting until the phone lines open at the Doc's at 8 to make an appointment for him...
Hope you managed to get DH to the GP and he's now sorted okay. I can empathise with you abut men and illness - mine's just the same, with every minor ailment the worst thing ever :rotfl:...........

I had my appointment at the GP today. She explained that it was a viral infection that had caused the heart attack - not the usual blockage cause at all. Apparently they ran over thirty tests trying to identify the virus - as it is very unusual that it caused this.
Anyway - long story short. She has given me a repeat prescription for the very low doseage drugs until I see the consultant in June, just to be on the safe side, as there is no way of knowing atm of any long-term damage done to my heart.
She thinks the tiredness and lack of appetite are just due to the awful few days I was soo ill and my body is just trying to recuperate in its' own way. She expects it to take around another month before I start to feel back to 'normal'. So I'm just to do what I feel up to, no exercise apart from pottering or a gentle walk and eat as nutritionally as possible - not to worry about the amount. If I don't feel any better in a month to give her a call.
I have saved £25.40 on my flight tickets for September, made £2.40 on a couple of surveys and £6.95 interest/cash back on bank account. Now trying to find a hotel to book for September as well.
Hope you all have a great Tuesday

Got £49.66 from writing sites this weekend which I am really chuffd with and I already have another £13 to redeem but I am going to wait till it's a bit higher to cash out.
So my total is now £808.29 so I've made my target Yay.
I am going to be aiming just as high next month because I need to find another £800 by the start of June as we have two trips booked (first in 5 years) so I want enough spending money to not have to worry which would be a novelty. xxTotal Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)

Poor you! It can be easy to underestimate how much illness, operations etc take out of us but our bodies are usually quite good at making us slow down aren't they? It's good news that you don't have any blockages to worry about though. Hope you are soon fighting fit again

Lynne, I'm so pleased that the GP could give you good news:j. I was thinking of you yesterday and hoped to post a good luck message early on in the day and then got sidetracked. Really sorry:o
I'd never heard of viral infections causing heart attacks, we learn so much on this thread:). I hope you'll be feeling more energised soon, thanks to lots of rest and eating more. Sending hugs and positive vibes your way:kisses3:
Managed to get OH an appointment with his favourite GP yesterday:j and it turns out it was a viral infection rather than just a common or garden cold. I feel terrible now for being less than sympathetic:o. He used to be asthmatic but was 'signed off' a couple of years ago and doesn't even use an inhaler now. I suppose it's better to be safe than sorry when breathing problems/wheezing occurs though, as now. The Doc said he did right to consult him because over-the-counter medication wouldn't cure it. Apparently, they had a long chat about the colour of his phlegm:eek: It's been over a week already and neither of us have got much sleep because of his coughing whenever he lay down. He's now on a course of antibiotics and some heavy-duty medicine and for the first time he managed a few hours of uninterrupted sleep last night:j.0 -

Only tips to add for me at the moment £9.65 but have some swagbucks vouchers pending after doing the Ladbrokes offer.
Never been on a gambling site in my life so was a bit daunting but was worth it.
Thanks for updating us Lynne vand take care of yourself!

Just seen on the Daily Mail Rewards website that they are changing over to Nectar points 'soon':(. I used to love getting Morrisons paper vouchers every 8 weeks, not so sure Nectar points will be much use to me as I only visit a Sainsbury's about once a year and some of the other places they can be used are too far from us to bother with, such as BP etc. Must check out Nectar's website.0
