well I had a non evening yesterday. came home had dinner, sat down to watch LuckyMan with full intentions of doing other things. fell asleep. got up fell asleep on sofa and was left there. It got very cold about 2am, couldnt be bothered to go upstairs to warm bed, and continued sleeping until 9am this morning.
Must have needed it was very tired this week.
for a change DH did something nice and productive, he ironed every single thing in the spare room. .... unfortunately he also ironed all the stuff I wanted to sell/give to charity shop so have to go and look for all that now.
but did help as that was a job for this weekend.
I have been slowly making money, need to work out how much.
need to start kicking my own derriere and making more money. seem to be running out of money before month end. realised today though short of cash due to impromptu visit from SIL and MIL and had to pay for their take away and drink.
oh well to the bank of DH.....0 -
I'm glad you managed to get some sleep, even though you might not have been all that comfortable. Just goes to show how much you needed it. I hope you feel refreshed now:beer:. If ever I fall asleep in the recliner I end up waking up with a stiff neck:eek:. It's such a comfy chair but is in direct line of a draughty cat flap!
As for your DH doing the ironing, what a sweetie:j. My OH wouldn't recognise an iron if he tripped over one:(. I think he imagines his clothes get done by magic;)
I've just been loading the car for my first outdoor car boot sale of the season tomorrow morning. Not expecting much profit, it's a sorry-looking cargo but there's plenty of it so I hope I get rid of some of it:T. I'm going to accept all offers, the space is more important than hanging out for a good price and having to bring it all home again. Most of it has been in and out of the shed more times than I can remember. Looks like the shed roof has developed a slight leak since I was in there last and knowing how fast OH is at getting round to doing DIY jobs I want to clear everything out asap.

Hey CBC, it was a little ambitious, I was hoping it would give me some incentive to starting selling stuff but as yet it hasn't lol but as you say there's still a bit of time left in April so you never know lol!!!
Anyway, another £8 from overtime to add. Have also reached payout on onepoll but won't add this until it hits my paypal.

Some great results there folks, everyone is still trying hard during these last few days:T:j:beer:
My car boot sale went very well and the lovely sunny morning brought out lots of sellers and buyers:j. I made £141.25 and considering it was pretty low-quality stuff (AKA tat;)) I was really pleased. OH wanted me to take some things of his to sell but as the car was already full I just took some enlarged photos of them and put them on my stall. A man came along who wanted both (metal 'burning bins' , really just old, painted oil drums with holes drilled in them). He lives quite near us and came round last night to buy and collect them. I didn't get the money for them myself (of course) but it's a good way to sell OH's junk that tends to be too big for my car.
OH still feeling really ill with his hacking cough so I'm waiting until the phone lines open at the Doc's at 8 to make an appointment for him. It's always possible to get an appointment on the same day (if you don't mind which of the Doctors you see or what time) and I'll probably drive him there as he seems quite groggy. I'm ashamed of myself for not being more sympathetic over this illness:o but he's the world's worst patient and has always milked the slightest symptoms for all they're worth. The boy who cried wolf comes to mind here;)0 -
Hi all 👋
I am adding cash back etc as it clears in my account, is that what you all do?
Back to school and work today, booo!
My updates
TopCashback £21.86
Matched betting £63.77
£330.53/£300
Think I may aim a little higher next month, although I will need to put more effort in as this month I have had lots of cash back from months ago so my TC account only has around £150 pending.
Have a good week everyone x0 -
