Advice please - changing phone.
Hopeing for some views or suggestions please, looking to change my S3 for something newer, faster and with a better camera, but not to spend an absolute fortune so sub £250 for an unlocked non contract phone.
One of the things that I don't like about the S3 is the amount of bloatware it has, and as far as I can see the later Galaxy's are as bad (and too expensive).
At the moment I can't make up my mind between the Honor 6x and the Moto G5 plus (this one has confusingly conflicting reviews over camera performance). Have already discounted the Umidigi models to poor reviews.
I should add most of my photos are taken outside in daylight so the lowlight camera performance is not so much of an issue.
Any views or advice gratefully accepted, I should add this was originally posted on the techies board so don't flame me for this post please.

Personally would go for G5 plus due to less bloatware.0

Thanks, any views on the camera on G5 plus, cos I'm getting very mixed messages when I read reviews with some saying excellent, others worse than G4 plus. Unfortunately, if I'm honest the camera will probably be the deciding factor in which phone I get.0 -
If your concerned about bloat ware your not going to like any Chinese make phone including the honor0

If you do buy a Motorola don't buy it directly from them - their customer 'service' is appalling.3 stone down, 3 more to go0

The Amazon 3GB exclusive Moto G5 worth the extra tenner even though you lose the 2 year warranty from JL.0

Thanks Ballyblack and Smithers, however it would be the G5 Plus not the G5, and so far only CarPhone are listing it (mail order only).
Being a wrinkly I'm not happy with ordering before I've had a chance to see and handle the actual item, so waiting patiently for both G5Plus and Honor6x to be available in a shop somewhere!
And also still a little confused over the conflicting reviews on camera performance for the G5 Plus (some very good others poor).0 -
Im looking at the G4 and G4 plus, the G4 plus especially has good reviews. Although its more expensive of course. Should be a good step up from an S3.0

For myself wished go for S5 due to fewer swell up.
I’m considering at the G5, the G5 particularly has worthy reviews. Even it’s more costly. Should be a decent step up from an S5.0
