  • Do you have to pay a set amount into your Lisa or can you open it and leave it dormant till you can afford to pay in? Hubby is 40 next month. Must Google it to find out more. He has no pensions eek so might have to see if he should be doing this ??

    I opened a cash one with Skipton. You can open it with £1 and then leave it and pay in whenever. With Stocks and shares ones you pay in some each month so it wasn't good for me right now. Once it's opened, you can transfer to a different type in the future if you want to, you just can't open one for the first time after you are 40.
