I do however have a passionate dislike for UKPC with them twice trying to fleece me for "leaving site", so when I see a thread relating to that I normally send a PM to the OP advising how I got the ticket cancelled.
All help is always welcome - can you post what you told rizuk here in detail so we can refer to it in future examples?
Oh and well done both of you.

    Hi Umkomaas,

It isn't a typo, just a term in possibly the most descriptive language around - Afrikaans.
I don't normally post on here as I can't better the advice given by C-M, and others.

    Lekker, baie dankie.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Sure - this was in response to an "invitation" to provide proof of using the site after sending in C-M's template appeal -
"Thank you for your response to the Registered Keeper's appeal.
In the Registered Keeper's appeal it was made perfectly clear that the Registered Keeper expects either the charge to be cancelled, or to be issued with a POPLA code.
Regarding your request to furnish proof of the use of on-site facilities - stop wasting the RK's time.
The onus is on UKPC to prove that the driver/and or occupants of the vehicle left the site, not the other way round.
You are not dealing with a helpless pensioner or cancer ward visitor and the RK won't be swindled and bullied by a bunch of small-time scammers such as UKPC.
The RK is repeating the request for you to follow your BPA mandated procedure and either cancel this speculative invoice, or give the RK a valid POPLA appeal code so that this ridiculous claim can be put to bed.
No further correspondence with UKPC will be entered into."

    Good for you bokdrol:beer:

UKPC did not like you telling them a few truths.

"the RK won't be swindled and bullied by a bunch of small-time scammers such as UKPC"

The perfect description for UKPC and all the low life PPC's

"The driver left the site" ??????
UKPC are so well known for vomitting total rubbish

Well done OP. Amazed you got a response. I assumed the only things left at UKPC HQ were a janitor and his sweeping brush

I really like that reply to UKPC - and if people would use it I would be just as scathing in the NEWBIES thread! But people are usually too scared about robustly challenging a scam, sadly.

    Thanks C-M.
The purpose was really just to let UKPC know that you are on to them and that you aren't a pushover.
Normally I would agree with your advice about waiting for POPLA, but since finding out that the claimant gets to have a look at the appeal first and can then still pull out without having to cough up £27 + VAT, I was reluctant to waste the time drafting a POPLA appeal.
However, your template for the initial appeal is gold, and an absolute must if you want to fight them successfully.
I have to say I had nearly as much fun fighting this one as I did on the first one I got - after getting that one squashed with proof of receipt I got lucky enough to spot the operator parked across two bays munching his lunch, so I took some pics and Parking Prankster was kind enough to post them on his blog.

Hahahahah, which PP blog was this - did he put the photo up? Surprised I missed that one.

It is January 2014 I think - it is titled "UKPC crisp break" or something like that.
