I received a reply from UKPC asking me to provide evidence. I haven't got any receipts...should i wait for POPLA stage or turn it around and ask them to provide evidence that i left the site?0

Ask them to prove you left the site
No, if he were to reply it would be to ask them to prove 'the driver' left the site! But this is not a stage to reply. Rejection letter automatically follows.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for your help.
To help me prepare for POPLA stage are they any examples i can use?
Is there any time limits as to when i need to submit this once i have received the POPLA code/no?0 -
Leaving site is extremely unlikely to be upheld by a judge. It is almost impossible to prove, and the PPC is expected to take steps to mitigate its losses, i.e. by the Parking Weasel warning the motorist of the financial consequence of leaving the site.
It could also be argued that such a condition may be unreasonable, especially if they are going to an ATM.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Using the advice given to me by bokdrol I responded to Ukpc by telling them the burden of proof is on them, not me, via the appeals online, and to either give me a POPLA code or p... off.
Got a letter today saying its been cancelled ::j Thank you all for your help. :T0 -

Good fun, tastes like ****!
A little bit like wellie throwing, ditch swimming, cheese rolling and Morris Dancing.
Unless the OP has some more rational explanation. Maybe a typo! :rotfl:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi Umkomaas,
It isn't a typo, just a term in possibly the most descriptive language around - Afrikaans.
I don't normally post on here as I can't better the advice given by C-M, and others.
I do however have a passionate dislike for UKPC with them twice trying to fleece me for "leaving site", so when I see a thread relating to that I normally send a PM to the OP advising how I got the ticket cancelled.
