Just woke him up, and thankfully he seems ok.

I noticed last night after cleaning his cage that he wasnt eating his food, he got a peanut and took it in his house but that was it, usually he takes lots of food out of his bowl into his house

So I was concerned, then when I saw the brown liquid I panicked even more.

So I opened the cage just twenty mins ago and he came straight out of his house to me, I got him out and held him and he proceeded to run around all over me and he has just took loads of food to his house (which I am pleased with)

And now I can hear him on his wheel :)

So so far he seems ok, I will keep an eye on him, and check him in the morning.

I read up about wet tail and apparantly its not been found in Chinese Dwarf Hamsters, so I dont think its that.

hamster urine is fairly concentrated and can be anything from a milky white to a brownish colour (indicating dehydration, which could be so if he'd just had a long sleep). Chinese hams are also fairly nototiously pee-ers, from what I've heard (only had Syrians myself, but I like to geek up on hammy knowledge!) - it could well just be he had a wee just before you noticed him. I'd keep an eye though - they're delicate little things, and a slight upset can be a big problem. Even though Chinese hams can't get wet tail, they can still get diahrrea.

Fingers crossed for you that he's OK!

Today when I went in to see my hamster and pick it up, it was really cold and hardly moved, which isn't normal. It's eye were half shut and it seemed like it couldn't hold itself up. I have no idea what's wrong with it, I will take it to vets tomorow but are they open sundays?

Is the room it is in quite cold. Hamsters can sometime hibernate if the room is too cold. Try and pick it up and hold it in your hands

Also does it tail look wet like it has been sitting in wee?

Nope the room is hot if anything. For some reason it has also been sleeping in the cornor of his cage under the water bottle and not in his house. When i put him down he tried to walk but he keeps wobbling around and can hardly walk straight. He did not feel wet either.

thats good going for a hamster - usual age range 12-18m

Keep him warm somewhere overnight, in case it is hibernation, but unfortunately, i doubt he will last the night :(
