If all you wanted was a soapbox upon which to air the chip on your shoulder and complain about racist police, why didn't you just be clear when you started the thread?

Yes racism exists - that doesn't mean that every time a police officer stops you, it's because of your race

Of course racism exists.

But going looking for it in places where it (generally) isn't does nobody any favours - least of all those who suffer it for real. All it does is pee people off and add to the "is it cos I is black?" stereotype, which is a gift to the real racists out there.
