    Hi all,

A quick update on today's spending, having spent £34.03 in L1dl today. That'll be us now for the week and happen hoping to clock up 5 NSD's as a result. Will let you know how we get on.

It's lovely and sunny down here on the South Coast today and I'm just about to head off and spend some time in the garden. Hope it's just as wonderful where you all are too!

    Hi all x
Went to the market today spent far too much (on non food stuff) as whole family decided to go with us, they're all banned from now on!:rotfl:

    Food
    5lb steak mince - £10
    Fruit and veg -£8.60

    Toiletries
    Bubble bath -£1.50
    Loo roll -£2.00

The butcher gave me a huge bit of beef on the bone for soup for free so I'll make a broth with it.:money:

Yesterday we had takeaway which cost £12 and some rolls at market £5 which need to come out of the budget too.

My month will run from 1st to 28th April, 4 weeks. My budget will be £280 I will hopefully have money left over from March's budget which I aim to use for bulk purchasing.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, our budget covers all food and drink including takeaways, meals, and snacks out, alcohol, toiletries, cleaning materials.

In March I overspent by £117.17, I am going to take this off April's budget.

    April budget £280
    March overspend £117.17
    Remaining £162.83

    NSD's 2/28
Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

I've done my first shop of the month for £27.77. I'm hoping this will help with keeping my budget under control because having analysed (sad I know !) the months when I'm over, I've always had a large, costly shop in week one.
lol, its not sad. I feel the same. I try to delay my first shop of the month as much as a I can, living out of freezer & stores. It really helps me stay on track.

Hoping not to spend 'till Tuesday.

    Good morning,
First spend of the month came to £53.07. I had run out of some basics so stocked up. I had a £5 off voucher from Lidl, which was very useful!

Have been doing a lot of spending and now only have £38.97 left, but we have huge stocks of everything, so we may be ok.

First shop of the month and I've spent £9.67. I bought extra milk so that should be it for the week although now it's sunny I do keep thinking of ice lollies. I've made ice cubes from fruit juice so that'll have to do me for now.
