  • Think most of my shopping is done present wise, just the food shopping left to complete. Just the adult loneliness that gets me. Its getting to me more and more, and the fact I barely go out isn't going to help improve that situation.
Just dropped a cupboard door on my toe too:( it hurt

Sounds like a good plan, hows the house coming along??

  • Hi Laura, well kitchen cupboards all have doors now. Christmas decorations are up (just need to finish sorting the garland in hallway). Building tree up today so kids can decorate that when they come home from school tonight. Painted landing ceiling, And apart from the wine, have got all of christmas dinner bought in.
Now I just need to tidy everywhere so it gleams:rotfl:yeah right I am on about me tidying up.
Got one of my debts paid off yesterday (£70 a month) so all ready for the luxury addition of £20 sky a month now, and it balances out the extra £40 a month BG have decided to up my payments by (with luck in 6 months that should stick me in credit with them, and I can finally ditch the energy robbing gits). Leaving me with a spare £10 a month for savings.

  • God knows why i never got around to this before, but have just called and cancelled my PPI on Dining Suite, so £2.45 better of a month :rotfl:The sofa is a different matter, apperantly I have to write in to that financial firm to have my PPI cancelled. Will have to do it after Christmas now as sadly must admit I cant even afford a stamp today. My catalogue I cancelled as soon as I went unemployed since it was voluntary so to speak. Just forgot to cancel them with my DFS purchases.:o

Hope you had a nice xmas pen and that you got the house sorted ok. Ours was pretty good..not too extavagant. Ended up in Bullcroft officials on Boxing day for an all dayer playing in the domino hanicap with all the old men!!!!

They've talked me into going down there for NYE as well....not very DFW I know but I can't face sitting in the house all night and watching telly

    Hows it all going????

  • Going fine, I have my youngest so will be spending the night in either watching tv or on here or even playing world of warcraft. considering going out tonight with mate, as its last night i have my free babysitter (eldest child 13). Ok just called mate, I am going out tonight, first Carcy then up to Grange, no idea what's on, so could be a terrible night, but only one I will have go out on during Christmas/new year and my birthday at beginning of Dec. Anyhow the Clubs are more DFW than going to town, by about £1 a drink I think...lol.
