Wow what an amazing reduction in interest figures!! Seriously impressive. I am chuffed that mine has gone down by £1 a day since last year, ha ha....still way too high at £22 a day, but thats the joy of being sahm living in expensive london i guess. Relocation, relocation, relocation me thinks.

    Well done you!

It's half term. When my kids were small I would have been outside in the sun with them - this half term has mostly been about revision:o They are both out in the sun now - in the park with their friends eating i-scream-for-ice-cream-41.gif

Hoping to get a chance to do an update sometime next week on our MF progress. The bad news is that MR SMF2 scraped a neighbour's car boo.gif It's going through insurance companies, so it will probably effect our no claims status. Still mustn't grumble but a big fat boo.gif to cars LOL.

    I have updated page 1

    • Interest for the month was £97. This time last year was £743 - so this increased our OP by £646 :j. Made an additional OP of £1000 so mortgage balance moved down by £2,318 :jin total.
    • Net Debt now less than £10K
    • Endowment - we have an endowment with Norwich Union which is due to mature May 2012. It has a guarantee and NU are supposed to give three years notice that they are not going to honour the guarantee. The three years has now past so hopefully they are going to honour the payout but we'll see..
    • Filled up Cash ISA savings for the year.
    • Pension Still sitting on the sidelines in cash
    • Savings on Store Points since 1st Jan
    Boots £120
    Hair dresses (Local) £ 37
    Sainsburys £ 7
    Body Shop £ 23
    Next £ 8
    Homebase £ 21
    Airmiles £36
    Other £ 2

    TOTAL £254

    Hilton Saved £2248 !

    Outstanding Points Balance
    Boots £21
    Sainsburys £68
    Tesco £20

    • The Use-it-up-Challenge
I'm continuing trying to use up my clothes, books, smellies, make up etc. So my spending on these is still low:D

    Think that's it.....
