"fwhorn, I'm sure you are trying to say something that makes sense."
I cant expect you to make sense of what I am saying, when you cant make sense of what was said on the listing on ebay.
You bought a rubik's measuring X inches and you got a rubik's measuing X inches, what part of that is wrong? If you look in Argos and Toys r us, not one of them says full size or gives measurments. The guy on ebay did, the problem you have is that you never checked the size, thats your problem. Forget the money issue at the momment be it £1 or £1000, you got what you bought for. The dsr is there if you get something that is not what you ordered. If you buy something in error, you are not automatically entitled to a refund.
As for the dsr, why dont you ask them if size matters.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Having had returns through DSR before, I have been through them with a fine tooth comb and you can return an item for any reason (and some exclusions) within 8 days of purchase.
My beef with it is you get some customers who would appear to use the DSR to buy something use it for 7/8 das and return it. I point out to them tha I am not Dixons my margin is fairly small and on low priced stuff it quickly pushes me into loss. I have to cover return P+P, pay fees and then in some instances I have to sell the item as used because its obviously been used which knocks a lot of the final selling price.
To be fair it doesn't happen that often but the tone and content of emails normally alerts you to the probability that the buyer does it quite frequently.0 -

Make that had.
"dimensions for the cube were in the auction you idiot!"
Leaving the follow up that the seller is a "Villain" seems a bit strong...0 -
Cant beleive you left neg feedback for the seller, they really didnt deserve that, makes you look more like an idiot IMO, seems to have backfired hasnt it0

You'd have a point if the seller had not clearly put the dimensions of the item.
But he did.0 -

Er... because I could see it. That is, kind of, what I've been saying for the last 2 days.0 -

Ah, I see... so if the photo had shown a ruler next to it, instead of just STATING the measurements.... you'd have known before buying it wasn't the right one?My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Unlike many who use ebay I wont be silenced by the threat of bad feedback. This is what allows many people to get away with badly treating others on ebay. The threat that if they justly leave bad feedback then the other person will unjustly leave them the same.0
