At final steps with Kensington now and getting really nervous.

More Docs required 17th June
More Docs required 25th June (3 months of mortgage payment fund proof)
Landlord proof 2nd July
Valuation instructed 2nd July
Valuation completed 3rd August (we had to wait a whole month for some reason!)
Please give me some good news people!!0 -
Has anyone called Kensington directly for an update?0

So far:- Bank statements - both joint and our own accounts
- Proof of address for the previous 3 years
- Payslips for 3 months for both
- Gift deposit form filled in
- ID from a relative who gifted deposit

Delighted to say we finally got our offer today. Our timeline was
6 July DIP
7 July application (proof of address, 3 months bank statements, proof of deposit, 3 months salary slips)
More docs requested 8 July (P60's for last 2 years, proof of accumililation of deposit funds)
16 July Valuation booked and more information requested (latest salary slips)
20 July valuation
24 July valuation approved more information requested on deposit funds and proof that we had 3x mortgage payments saved in additiion to deposit
31 July a question on a direct debit on the bank statement (that they had had for the past 4 weeks!!)
5 August offer
So for us 22 business days or a calendar month from start to finish. Good luck to everyone - as you will see from this feed their process is very disjointed, quick for some slow for others (I also think it depends on the quality of the broker) but I think most people get there eventually. Keep the faith and keep giving the information requested!

if they ask me for anymore documents I think I’ll knock it on the head, we’re starting to get pressure from the builders and really wanted to move before school starts in September.
we have 2 kids starting new schools in September and my wife had to go back early (she’s a teacher)
we were rejected by a high street lender after a 5 week process so it’s now been 10 weeks since we put an offer on the house0 -
Outside of what you've got above, we were asked for our P60s, our landlords details as we are renting and our disclosure of incentives from from the developers (new build only).0 -

our MA said Kensington don’t have a live tracker, they send a weekly update to the broker via email which is frustrating.
even if they said, ok we have everything but it will now be 2 more weeks, we can make plans etc. It’s the limbo that’s annoying us the most. I can handle the builders.
