We just got told we got our offer. So ecstatic I still can’t believe it! All in all it’s been a short time between full application and offer but because it’s such a stressful time it just seems so much longer. 

Here’s our full timeline, this is our 3rd mortgage/move and we are not buying new build:
02/07/20 - DIP

03/07/20 - late on in the afternoon - full application made. 

06/07/20 - supporting docs sent to broker. See my earlier post for what we had to send. 

13/07/20 - valuation carried out. 

13/07/20 - further doc sent - bank statement with 3 months mortgage payments. 

21/07/20 - mortgage offered. 

All in all from full application to offer it’s 18 calendar days or 12 working days. 

That’s great news. Huge congratulations. Hopefully all of ours will follow shortly!

Thank you! Hopefully they have got into the swing of things now and will be going through the applications quicker.

Our broker says that Kensington are doing final
checks on ours- valuation was on Friday so hoping for a quick decision!

Thanks so much! We asked our broker today and he said we should hear on Tuesday. Just afterwards he phoned to tell us we had the offer! It has been a long six weeks! Hopefully you’ll hear soon!

We finally got our offer this afternoon! Completely in shock that we got it done in 17 days from application.  
DIP - 4th July
Full application - 6th July
More documents requested - 9th July
Valuation booked - 13th July
More documents requested - 14th July
Valuation (visit) carried out - 16th July 
Valuation accepted - 17th July
Mortgage offer received - 23rd July 
Now pass me a glass of wine!
