All in all it’s been a short time between full application and offer but because it’s such a stressful time it just seems so much longer.Here’s our full timeline, this is our 3rd mortgage/move and we are not buying new build:
02/07/20 - DIP03/07/20 - late on in the afternoon - full application made.06/07/20 - supporting docs sent to broker. See my earlier post for what we had to send.13/07/20 - valuation carried out.13/07/20 - further doc sent - bank statement with 3 months mortgage payments.21/07/20 - mortgage offered.All in all from full application to offer it’s 18 calendar days or 12 working days.1 -

Our broker says that Kensington are doing final
checks on ours- valuation was on Friday so hoping for a quick decision!0 -

Thanks so much! We asked our broker today and he said we should hear on Tuesday. Just afterwards he phoned to tell us we had the offer! It has been a long six weeks! Hopefully you’ll hear soon!berkshirelass said:

We finally got our offer this afternoon! Completely in shock that we got it done in 17 days from application.
DIP - 4th July
Full application - 6th July
More documents requested - 9th July
Valuation booked - 13th July
More documents requested - 14th July
Valuation (visit) carried out - 16th July
Valuation accepted - 17th July
Mortgage offer received - 23rd July
Now pass me a glass of wine!
