I have received my PIP review results. I now have enhanced rate for daily living and standard for mobility. That means an extra £50 a week. :j

In the letter they said the face to face assessment and information from health professionals and medical history was consistent with what I said on the form. Believed at last!

Plus we received a hefty payment for the holiday cottage from cottages4you.

Just finished my counselling session and the world feels good today :)

This is all lovely news - I am so happy for you xx

By the way - what is wrong with a ponytail ? !!

the relief from decluttering and helping others will be worth missing out on a few pennies.

I think this is a really good point. Whether you are decluttering your own house, or the house of a loved one, there is no perfect destination for everything. You want there to be, you want to either make some money or gladden someone else's life - but it's important to realise when it is just clutter and sucking the energy from your own life. Any way you choose will be better than it hanging around, and sorting into donate/recycling piles can release more space and relief than trying to get the odd tiny amount of money.

Sorry if this sounds like proselytising - I need to take my own advice too !!

Thank you Elizabeth hull and quintwins.
I feel as though you have given me permission to give things away and clear some much needed space. It feels like quite a relief and it hasn't gone yet

Today I had three appointments so feel quite drained but we also had friends to dinner. First time in years since we had anyone other than family or neighbours here. We just put the slow cooker on this morning and it turned out okay. Plus it was lovely to see old friends so a real positive for me.

We have had no gas since Sunday night. The bottles leaked and we lost it all. The valve needs replacing and so does the gas. Gas was delivered so just waiting for the plumber. He has promised to be here later today.

DD did the balance transfer for us, to a 0% cc. It is such a relief for me. And I am very grateful to her and DSIL for doing this for me.

I don't know when the balance transfer will actually happen. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks, I think.

As a special treat when DS1, his wife and MIL are here I have bought tickets for 11 arches show Kynren. I got one ticket free and free disabled parking. I feel sure the Americans will love it. It is expensive but a treat for me too.

    Must update signature this weekend.

Still no gas:( I have run out of ideas for cooking without a hob and grill. Hopefully plumber will be here soon.
DD and DGD and I are hoping to go raspberry picking later. Making the effort to be outside in nature.
